Check out the one-day North Shore session with Schoenbeschen, Nishii, and Hiroki.
The other day, Nishii flew to Hawaii for the wedding of team rider Hiroki. While he had limited time, Nishii visited his old friend Schoenbeschen's house and went surfing at Ehukai, next to Pipeline. Check out the photos from that time.

Nishii chose to bring only one board,

After much deliberation, I chose
the 5'8" SUB-BUGGY JP POLY .
This board is great in any condition.
The waves were good that day, coming from the right direction. As you'd expect from North Shore Hawaii, the waves were powerful and big enough that even though we went there without any prior notice, we had a great time riding some set waves with Shane's wave guidance in the ocean.

Hiroki was also attending a wedding, so he could only bring one board.
PLACEBO 5'10" ``CONQUEST EL-DIABLO'' FLEXLITE-BOOST selected.

He made it to the inside and was going really fast.

This proves that
PLACEBO's FLEXLITE-BOOST can handle the waves on the North Shore of Hawaii.

Shane's signature model is the LOST 5'7" ROCKET POLY.

I was riding a QUAD.

Shane is still off-leash.

Even though I did this, for some reason the board didn't wash away, which I can only think of as a miracle.

This is Shane's second son, Koda, who accompanied us. He's 10 years old and his father is Shane and his older brother is Noah. They have a skateboard bank in their backyard, and right in front of their house is the North Shore, known as the Seven Mile Miracle. I'm sure he'll become just as good as Noah. He's handsome and good-looking, so I think he'll be popular. He rode
the LOST BEACH BUGGY .
