I tried to "spartanize" it, or simplify it.
First, we removed the wings and reduced the thickness. Then, we incorporated the same bottom design into most of our popular Japan-only models. The flat rocker at the stance position where your feet rest gives you the best speed performance, and the rail rocker created by the deep single concave at the center of the board allows for quick turns and excellent maneuverability.

We've heard a lot of feedback from surfers who love the DIABLO series, and quite a few of them said, "I'd like to tone down the volume a bit, but the high performance of the Whiplash, SUB-BUGGY, and BEACH BUGGY is a bit too much for me."
This "DIABLO-SPARTAN" was developed with a design concept that is somewhere between the buoyant "DIABLO" series and professional high-performance models such as Kolohe and Taji. It has a simple appearance but is the high performance of the "DIABLO" series.
