Where do the familiar names "LOST" and "MAYHEM" come from?

losfg The red order card lists the LOST surfboards made for Japanese customers. IMG_8244 Go to the LOST surfboard factory IMG_8242 Mayhem custom order surfboards from Japanese customers I went to deliver the order. IMG_8247 The ARCTIC FOAM that was just delivered is lined up inside the factory. IMG_8248 It's spectacular to see them lined up so neatly. IMG_8243 As summer ends, we receive the most custom orders in CALIFORINIA. IMG_8249 AKU's foam cutting machine operates without interruption in the factory. IMG_8245 The carbon bands for the carbon wrap are wrapped here at LOST. The glass is then transported to the glass factory, where it is carefully handcrafted according to the outline of each model. IMG_8246 A custom board with 4 channels in a carbon wrap. This combination is great! IMG_8222 These are the waves from the other day. This is the only place in the world where you can test boards on waves like this. Because LOST surfboards are developed and designed for waves like these, they are tuned so that every model will ride well. zzz This is what MAYHEM showed me, A flyer from a band that MAYHEM was in when he was in high school about 30 years ago. It says TEAM LOST "MAYHEM" ORDNANCE. The names LOST and MAYHEM come from this band name.
