img_9181 Yesterday I went to Aichi Prefecture with a LOST & PLACEBO surfboard for a test ride. img_9184 This is the stone monument point in Irago, the venue for the surfing contest "Honobono Cup." img_9183 This is a large surfing contest that brings together users who have entered from each Murasaki Sports store in the Chukyo area. dsc_0341 At the contest venue, we set up a test board booth for LOST & PLACEBO surfboards and had participants try out a variety of boards. dsc_0285 Many people have told me that they read Nishii-san's blog every day. I'm so happy, thank you. dsc_0308 I was surprised at how knowledgeable everyone was about LOST & PLACEBO surfboards, with comments like, "I'm interested in the AILIEN!", "What kind of board is the V3-STEALTH?", "I'd like to try the CARBON WRAP next!", etc. img_9193 The waves for the test ride were waist-high, breaking on the shallow outside and then getting deep in the middle, making it impossible to ride the waves all the way to the inside. As a result, the most popular boards for test rides were the LOST "SUPER-DIABLO" and "DOS-DIBALO", and the PLACEBO "GOBLIN" and "CQ EL-DIABLO". img_9186 The weather and waves were just right all day, and we had lots of test rides. It was a great tournament. Thanks to all the participants and those involved in the tournament!
