On this day, I saw a video of Ian riding this model with tri-fins, which I introduced on this blog the other day, and it looked good, so I tried riding it with the new REACTOR tri-fins.
Nishii's impression is that the initial speed after takeoff is better with QUAD and TRI fins. On this day in particular, the waves broke early and dug up suddenly, so in that respect alone the TRI fins were better.
Nishii believes that the MR Twin + Stabilizer is the best fit for the RNF-REDUX, and for larger waves or all-around use, he recommends the MAYHEM QUAD setup.
