The young man surrounded by the IRON family is Griffin Colapinto, the 2018 Wild West Rookie who is currently garnering worldwide attention. He recently won the late Andy Iron Award from the Surfer Poll. He is also competing in the Pipeline Masters, which started today, and depending on his results, he could be in a position to win the prestigious Triple Crown.

The 2017 Women's Surfer Poll winner was the ever-popular and always smiling Carissa Moore, who is also a member of the LOST surfboards team. The winner for men was JJ.
