Regarding the FCSII fin question:
"Is Nishii-san wearing a screw?"
This is the question.
The answer is,
Nishii does not use screws on his FCSII fins. While I occasionally see people screwing down FCSII fins, please do not use screws on FCSII fins. This new system is also safer, as it allows the fin to come off if it hits your body or someone else's. This prevents the fin from coming off if it hits the board, the ocean floor, or anything else, which could lead to the fin plug collapsing or even the board being damaged, as was the case with older FCS systems. Even if you lose a fin, you only need to purchase a new one, eliminating the need for long repair times and expensive repairs if the board or plug breaks.
