Yesterday, we held the second leg of the LOST & PLACEBO surfboards Chiba "DEMO & ORDER TOUR".
I went with Chiba Kita KI Surf.
The event will be held at the former Kanpo point, located north of Kujukuri Beach in Chiba Prefecture.
We have about 30 LOST & PLACEBO surfboards available.
The set was chest-sized, and in the morning, the sea was calm and clean.
In the afternoon, we went onshore, but many people came,
We had a test drive.
Nishii rode the RNF-REDUX with CARBON WRAP. This model truly excels in overall balance. It's a LOST masterpiece, scoring highly in terms of paddle performance, maneuverability, and ease of riding. It pairs perfectly with the CARBON WRAP material. Because this model's design is so well-known, many manufacturers want to use its name, and it's been released in various collaborations and licensed productions, both past and present. Nishii, who has been riding this "RNF Series" model for over 20 years and probably spends more time riding RNFs than anyone else in the world, can confidently say that the RNF-REDUX is best ridden with CARBON WRAP. Iida-san, the owner of KI Surf, was trying out the latest stock board from DRIVER CARBON WRAP, which was the first to arrive in 2018 and immediately sold out. He has been riding his own DRIVER CARBON WRAP since 2016. The next shipment of this DRIVER CARBON WRAP, priced at 158,000 yen, will arrive in mid-April. It has the PRO dimensions of 5'7", 5'8". and 5'9".

LOST Japan AM team rider Ichi Watanabe, who came to help out at the test ride, had fun paddling on the PLACEBO ORCA SOFT TOP without fins, taking off from the ocean faster than with a long board, using his knees to paddle.
Ichi Watanabe also rode the RNF-REDUX CARBON WRAP that Nishii was riding, and said that he wanted a board in the right size for him. Hmmm, that would mean the board size would be around 4'5".
