Here's a report from Nishii's LOST Surfboards factory, which has been in San Clemente since last week.
This is a photo of the AKU machine set up to cut the Arctic Foam. The green laser is aimed at the center stringer, and the center is adjusted to ensure it is not misaligned.
Alyssa Quizon came to Mayhem to visit. She seemed pretty disappointed that she had dropped out of the World Title this year. So now she's been training seriously and losing weight. Her previous boards were too thick and didn't have the right buoyancy, so she came all the way from Hawaii to Mayhem to ask for advice. She ordered the
Driver and
Pocket Rocket .
This photo shows the process of applying a carbon band to a custom-ordered board featuring our patented "Carbon Wrap" technology, which transforms the high resilience of EPS foam into even more speed and response. The board has not yet been glassed.
This was returned to Mayhem for a refill order.

The shape design of the tail, wing and grab rail can be clearly seen in the Shape Room light.
The holes in the bottom for the FCSII fin plugs look like this before they are glassed and the FCSII fin plugs are installed. The
