This is a riding movie of Michael Rodriguez.
The LOST
POCKET ROCKET Pro-Formance round tail is used to ride the excellent waves, which are large and hollow and break quickly.
The waves in Michael Rodriguez's home country of Brazil tend to form tubes, so he's good at tubing.
The wind was blowing and the J-BAY reef break made it easy to get the rails in even on hard waves.
The waves allow the tail to step in, so I use a longer, rounder tail than usual.
In waves like those in Japan, when you take off, the waves push up the board and it starts to slide.
In order to keep running in waves with no power, you need a tail width or tail width,
In a wave with a strong wave quality like J-BAY, the tail is narrowed to prevent the board from being pushed up too much.
The tail-shaped board is easier to control.
It can be said that the design of the board needs to be changed to suit the wave conditions.
