I participated in the Legend Class at the 31st Southern California Japanese Surf Contest held last Sunday.
Nishii won with a string of 9-point rides.
I went to Church Point in Trestles many times to decide which board to ride.
After testing the boards, I chose
the 5'7" DIABLO-X CARBON WRAP, which suited the wave conditions.
This board is really good and is currently sold out at Love Surf, but will be restocked by the end of October.

There was one ride that the WSL judges gave 10 points.
In the special class, the final showdown between brothers "Sho" and "Kei Kobayashi" was a sight to behold!
