Huntington Beach is famous for its pier.
Looking at the Huntington Beach Pier with the shore at your back and the sea in front of you,
The south side on the left is called Southside Pier.
There was a nice sandbar in front of the second lifeguard tower from the South Side Pier.
The sandbar at Southside Pier had waves that were ridable from both right and left, just like a reef point break.
What's more, the wind is blowing offshore, which is rare in California, so the waves are amazing!
"Chucky" was also in top form, appearing to be even better than usual.
The waves were good and the sea was crowded with surfers one after another.
"Chucky" was riding selected waves with good sets that he knew because he was a local.
