There is this hook channel towards the tail on the toe side.

For most surfers, turning on the front side is easier and more flexible, as it allows them to control turns with their toes, so the hook channel allows them to push the tail rail more to make a tight, straight turn on the inside, or to apply weight slowly and for a long time to make a big, long drive turn.

The heel side is a round tail. It is easier to make bottom turns on the backside, and it is better for top turns, lip action, carving, etc. on the heel side than a symmetrical tail.
The design improves rotation and makes it easier to control the board with agility.

By changing the shape of the left and right tails, we were able to increase the width of the tail area.
LOST's new model, MAYSYM, has a wide tail, which gives it the advantage of being able to maintain speed in small, powerless waves or slow sections of the waves.

Kolohe and Griffin also like to ride the MAYSYM for relaxing private surfing during the off-season. The MAYSYM is a model with a playful design that is typical of LOST and aimed at average surfers. A video of them riding this new LOST model, the MAYSYM, has also been filmed, so look forward to it being released soon!
