I was wearing a large surfing watch, but after repeatedly taking off, my left wrist started to hurt, like I had tendonitis. However, it's inconvenient to surf without a watch. So I found the Deuce. There aren't many watches of this type that are waterproof, and this one is only 3 ATM (30 meters), so I don't think it's really designed for surfing, but I've used it for six months and it hasn't leaked water. Even if it does leak, it seems like I can get just the movement replaced inexpensively, so I have peace of mind.
My impressions after using it are... First of all, it's incredibly light. In fact, I forget I'm wearing it. My wrist circumference is 16.5cm, and the 17cm size fits over wetsuits. For those who are just concerned about time, it's fine. The edges are rubber, so it's safe even if you hit it against the board.
And best of all, there's no discomfort when paddling.
When paddling with the big, heavy type, only that arm got tired.
