Koji Nishii, a legendary professional surfer based in Los Angeles and Tokyo who works worldwide, had been searching the world, including high-end brands, for sunglasses that he was satisfied with, but he couldn't find any.
So he decided to produce the sunglasses himself from scratch and make them he could be satisfied with, and so OZONE Eyewear was launched in 2024.

Unlike well-known high-end brand sunglasses, which are mass-produced using molds and simply have the brand name printed on them, these are handmade by artisans, cut out from a single piece of wood, and polished to a high shine by hand, each one carefully finished.
