Hello, I'm Kohei, a staff member.
A must-see for anyone considering purchasing "THE RIPPER"!
Our staff member Ryuji, who is a big fan of high-performance models such as the DRIVER3.0, recently got his hands on THE RIPPER and has been riding it extensively, so we'd like to share his impressions with you!

Hello everyone. This is Ryuji, a staff member.
There's a surfboard I've been obsessed with lately!
It's "THE RIPPER"!
Dimensions: 5'5" x 18.50 x 2.25 24.75cl
POLYESTER MADE IN JAPAN QUALITY.

The fins used were FCS II PERFORMER PC / Tranquil Blue / TRI fins, size M.
The average tenor plate that goes well with any board and the just-right hardness make it perfect for a first surfboard test, and I chose the PERFORMER PC, which has no quirks, to better experience the characteristics of [THE RIPPER].
I usually use the Reactor, which has a wide, upright base, but the PERFORMER PC FIN is not as upright or extended as the Reactor and Carver, so I can best feel the characteristics of the model.

As you may know, I love the DRIVER series and use it as my main board.
I also have a RAD RIPPER, which I use when the waves aren't powerful or are thick, but because it's wide overall and has a low rocker, I found it a bit hesitant to use it in shallow waves or in conditions with fast breaking.

But!
LOST's latest 2024 model, "THE RIPPER," has more rocker than "RAD RIPPER," has no wings, and has a narrower tail area, but the rail thickness has not changed much, so I felt that it was a high-performance model that can handle everything from small conditions to larger waves.

It's especially easy to keep in the wave pocket, and the thick rails provide good rebound, so even with a little force the surfboard will return smoothly, making it very easy to perform lip action!

Like the RAD RIPPER, it has a quick take-off and the ability to turn through weaker wave sections while maintaining speed!
I think it would be especially recommended for older surfers who like surfboards with pointed noses.
Of course, this is also a great model for beginner surfers as the next step!
It's easy to handle, thick, has a fast takeoff and is user-friendly, so I felt it was a model that could be enjoyed by surfers of a wide range of levels!
