This is the board that Nishii has been riding heavily in California where the waves are small every day.
The reason for this is that even in knee-high waves, the buoyancy of the board is 32 liters, allowing for incredibly fast takeoff and allowing you to take off into waves that would normally require a longboard, and because the board is short at 5'5", you can move the board quickly and ride even in flat waves.
