Crosby Colapinto is back! The third WSL event, the MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal, starts on March 15th!

Hello, I'm Kohei, a staff member. The third WSL event, the MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal, will start on March 15th. At last year's event in Portugal, Crosby Colapinto made it to the semi-finals and his brother Griffin Colapinto won. Good news for LOST fans! Crosby Colapinto, who was absent after hitting his elbow on the reef at Backdoor, will return to the WSL's third tournament, the MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal! Crosby Colapinto made it to the semi-finals in Portugal last year and performed well in other competitions, winning the 2024 Rookie of the Year award! His older brother, Griffin Colapinto, won in Portugal last year, so we're looking forward to seeing him perform well on the LOST team! Other members of the LOST team who will be competing include Cole Hashmund, Ian Gentel, Yago Dora, Caroline Marks, Erin Brooks, Gabriella Bryan, Sawyer Lynblad, and BettyLou Sakura Johnson, so be sure to cheer them on! Don't miss the opening round Heat 3, where brothers Griffin Colapinto and Crosby Colapinto will face off! *Due to the absence of Ryan Callinan, the heat schedule has changed and the brothers' showdown has been postponed. I'm looking forward to seeing the LOST team make a comeback from here!

カリフォルニア滞在中の西井は、メイヘムの案内で最新ボードが制作されているファクトリー『バーシャムス』へ潜入してきました。 この『バーシャムス』ファクトリー内では現在ホリデーシーズンへ向けて2026年の新モデル「フォーミュラー1」が所狭しと制作されていました。 この「フォーミュラー1」は2026年先行モデルとして発売される新モデルで2025年WSLワールドツアーの試合でチームライダーたちが使い好成績を収めたモデルです。 一般的には「ドライバー3.0」として認知されていましたが、WSLの試合を実況するライブで話するアナウンサーたちは「ドライバー4」に乗っていると何度も試合で話していたのをご存知でしょうか？？？ この「ドライバー4＝フォーミュラー1」は「ドライバー3.0」から進化したものではなく、全く新しい別シェイプデザインです。なので「ドライバー4」とは呼ばずに「フォーミュラー1」としてリリースします。 この「フォーミュラー1」と言うモデルは、長年のLostサーフボードユーザさんなら知っているかと思いますが、過去にもこの同じ名前のモデルがあったのですが、その「フォーミュラー1」を最新バージョンにしたものが2026年リリースされる「フォーミュラー1」通称『F1』エフワンになります。2025年ヤゴドラをワールドチャンピオンに導いたボードがこれです。 ドライバー3.0よりもやや細身でロッカーも若干だけありレールは薄く削がれています。 シャープに動く速いボードで、とにかくチームライダーたちが『速い！』と絶賛しているモデルです。 「フォーミュラー1」モデルは、アメリカでは11月中頃に限定本数リリースされ、日本では年末頃にかけて限定本数を2026年先行発売予定となっていますので皆さん楽しみにしていて下さい。 ハイパフォーマンスモデルユーザの方はLOSTチーム達と同様に必修になるモデルとなりますね！
