The soft-top PLACEBO "ORCA" board, perfect for seasoned surfers, is running low. We're announcing this as we expect some sizes to sell out before summer arrives.

Due to the global trend, various softboards have been released by various brands for the 2020 season, but are you really satisfied with them after using them?
Have you ever bought a board that is flooding the market and is being sold at a low price, and it gets water in as soon as you use it, making it heavy and flooding the inside of your car after use, but then after using it a few times, it just sits in the back of your garage?

You won't feel that way with PLACEBO's ORCA!
The EPS center stringer foam is shaped, two layers of cloth are glassed with epoxy resin, a thin layer of bamboo is attached on top of that, and a soft top is attached on top of that. This is a completely different structure from a typical sponge board, and the strength and quality of the surfboard are greatly different.

The key to riding the PLACEBO ORCA Soft Top & Hard Bottom well is to load the board firmly and ride on a wide line. This will allow you to make large, graceful turns.
When you want to rip, step on the tail and put weight on your hind legs to move lightly.

The fin system uses the standard FCS II plug, so you can use your existing FCS II as is, but for children and beginners, we recommend the above FCS II "SAFETY SOFTFLEX".
These soft fins are soft and safe, yet offer excellent control and responsiveness for a satisfying ride.

The deck is covered with PVC rubber, which not only absorbs shock, but also provides a firm grip when wet, so no wax is required.
It has a very fast take-off and once you take off, you can easily pick up speed, giving you more room to try things you don't normally do, like switch stances and nose rides!
