We are pleased to announce that the "DRIVER2.0" model explanation has been updated!

The model description is below:

The DRIVER 2.0 is the latest in the continuous evolution of our most proven and popular pro performance shortboard. Designed with direct team feedback and continuous refinement, it has undergone rigorous testing by our top team riders, particularly Kolohe Andino, Griffin Colapinto, Carissa Moore, and young rider Caroline Marks. The DRIVER 2.0 is a direct reflection of the cutting edge high-performance surfboard design we are creating to meet the demands of our team riders for peak performance surfing. Over the past few years, the original DRIVER has been constantly tweaked and adjusted to keep up with the evolution of modern performance surfing since the last version. During that time, we've built literally hundreds of drivers for Griffin and Kolohe, with continuous adjustments. The good news is, this evolution has benefits for everyday surfers, too. The update includes: - A gentler "no flip tip" entry nose rocker The board glides and gains speed without pumping, allowing you to easily connect sections and turn to maintain high speeds. The nose outline is wider at the front 18 inches, providing more drive and speed with the front foot, helping you carve down the line and into turns. This also creates a more stable platform for the front foot on reverse landings, fin-free tail landings, and more. This helps minimize mistakes and wipeouts. The more pronounced round vee deck is thicker along the stringer centerline, improving paddle power and propulsion. After extensive feedback and testing, the thinner, boxier rails allow for quicker heel-to-toe transitions and more precise control while carving at high speeds. These two major updates in the DRIVER 2.0 combine to create a design that evolves three-dimensional surfing. ・Strong rail rocker running to the tail and deep concave create a floating effect. Use your back foot to perform high-speed carves, short semicircular arc turns, and vertical pocket surfing. Overall, the dimensions and volume of DRIVER 2.0 have increased slightly from previous years, For top pros, it provides a responsive ride with more momentum and glide. At the same time, paddle speeds have increased for average surfers, making the surf more forgiving. Now you can ride what the pros ride.
