The carbon fiber placement has been shifted to the center of the board, allowing for a center twist, improving driveability, rather than just the front and rear. The PVC sheet on the deck surface has been upgraded to a new PVC that is thinner, lighter, and stronger. The new PVC has excellent flexibility, allowing the board to accelerate every time the rider loads the board. This original, newly developed PVC sheet is lighter, denser, and has approximately 20% more surface strength.
The original molded EPS core is effectively covered with three types of strong yet lightweight PVC sheets, then hand-glazed with epoxy resin. The clear white finish and UV-resistant paint ensure the durable, long-lasting, and sun-resistant boards that the PLACEBO surfboard brand has always maintained, allowing you to keep riding them for a long time.
