He looked carefully at several sizes before choosing one. It was a model he had wanted for a while, and it had a good CL value, so he was looking forward to riding it for the first time. I'm Luvsurf PRO rider Masato Yukawa. This is a photo from a long time ago, but I'd like to share it with you all. The boards are the LOST 5'10" 'JW-DRIVER' POLYESTER and the LOST 7'4" 'GUN' POLYESTER. The 7'4" 'GUN' is the board I was waiting for in the BIG WAVE contest in Shonan. I was invited as an invited competitor so I had it shaped at short notice. The 5'10" 'JW-DRIVER' is a board that had its rails painted black at the last CALIFORNIA contest. We are accepting custom orders for the 'JW-DRIVER' ! I'm Luvsurf AM rider Hiroki Shirakawa. This board was ordered directly from Mayhem after we surfed together when he visited Japan last September. It's based on the "DOS-DIABLO," a custom-made board in a thinner, more maneuverable size that's currently in stock. It's recommended for those who don't need the same buoyancy (CL value) as the standard sizes. This size has been custom-ordered by many people and has proven very popular, so this size will be renamed the "DIABLO-SPARTAN" and will be available as a stock board in 2016. The new "Diablo-Spartan" is recommended for those who don't need the buoyancy of the "DOS-DIABLO" but want more buoyancy than the "SUB-DRIVER-JP ." It's a hotly anticipated model for 2016! Mr. A, LOST's "SUB-DRIVER-JP" chose POLYESTER. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/models/lost/sub-driver-jp He had been riding boards he'd bought overseas, but when he saw surfers out at the beach riding Japan-exclusive models from LOST and PLACEBO, who were catching more waves than him and seemed to be having more fun, he became interested and started looking at our website. He decided that this was the one for him , the SUB-DRIVER-JP, so he came to our store, compared the two sizes, and after consulting with us, he purchased it. Mr. B, He chose LOST's "LAYZ-POTATO" POLYESTER. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/models/lost/layz-potato He usually gets his boards made by a local Japanese shaper, but he happened to see a review of someone riding this model on a website and became interested. He owns several boards, but this "LAYZ-POTATO" is a different type from the other boards he owns, which have a pointed nose and rocker, so he decided to buy it. The model is quite old among LOST's models, but it is the "SUB-DRIVER" model, a classic that is still ridden by pros and is the basis for almost all high-performance models available today! When Mayhem came to Japan to take the order, they adjusted it to provide good control response even at high speeds, which is unique to the combination of this material and this model. It's a one-of-a-kind masterpiece! Mr. D, He chose LOST's "DOS-DIABLO" BLACK DART. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/models/lost/dos-diablo/dos-diablo Mayhem was introduced in September during his visit to Japan using the new "BLACK DART" material, which boasts excellent performance and strength. The model is the thin "DOS-DIABLO," which has a low CL value. POLY is currently unable to keep up with production of this thin size, and the feedback from riders has been so positive that it makes you wonder if it should be named as a separate model from the "DOS-DIABLO"! He was currently using the " SHORT ROUND " and had been wanting to own one and try riding it for a while, so he decided to purchase it when he saw that it was on sale for a limited time only. We are currently running a limited sale on 6 LOST surfboard models! Mr. B, LOST "DOS-DIABLO" POLYESTER White Poly Pro Tail Patch was selected. The customer requested that we custom-order this "DOS-DIABLO" model, with a CL value equivalent to that of the "FISH QUEST" model that he is currently riding well. The board's shank seems more comfortable to ride on even bigger waves than the FISH QUEST, and he was looking forward to riding some big waves. Mayhem received the board directly and was very pleased with the perfect finish. Mr. D, LOST " DOS-DIABLO " POLYESTER White Poly Pro Tail Patch was chosen. He often surfs in Shonan, and as he knows that mastering the basics of surfing perfectly quickly will have an impact on his future progress, he purchased a larger 6'4" board so that he could fully master the takeoff technique on a solid, reliable board. Mr. E, He chose the LOST " SUPER-DIABLO " with a POLYESTER White Poly Pro Tail Patch. He is a popular surfboard reporter and "ordinary old man" who always tries out new models sold exclusively in Japan. This board is designed for lighter riders and only comes in 24CL, so it is limited to a certain number of riders, but Mr. D, whose needs were met by this board, was looking for a board to take on an overseas trip, so he came to our store to see the board in person and purchased it. So when this TAITAN 5'8" Limited Edition, which is produced in limited quantities worldwide with only one of each size, was released, he immediately made a reservation and came to our store to purchase it.
