It's going well so I went for another ride! Part 2 of my impressions of PLACEBO's "RAD DIABLO"!
It was running so well that I decided to ride the PLACEBO RAD DIABLO again and would like to share my impressions with you. On the day, the forecast had been for the strong winds from the night before to die down in the afternoon, so we headed for lunch to a spot where there aren't usually many waves. However, when we arrived, the wind had changed direction much earlier than predicted and had weakened, so the surface and shape of the waves were good, but the size was small, about the size of a weak peach sett-cosi. Last time I surfed with a quad setting, so this time I tried riding with a tri-fin. It depends on the conditions of the day and the rider's preference, but personally I found the quad setting to be by far the best. I think it's partly because I like the quad setting to begin with, but first of all, there's no resistance in the middle of the surfboard compared to the tri setting, so takeoff is a step faster, and the moderate looseness increases the surfboard's rotational ability, making it move better. Unlike a tri-fin setting, there is no fin in the middle, so the speed on the upswing is faster and the bottom-to-top movement is shallower than with a tri-fin setting, but it was light and enjoyable surfing! However, as I mentioned earlier, the wave conditions and the rider's preferences are important, and the position of the quad fins varies depending on the model, so it's not a perfect fit for all models. If you have a RIPPER, I highly recommend you try it! I thought that the conditions on this day might be a little tough for PLACEBO's "RAD DIABLO" but I went in anyway... Once again, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the PLACEBO material, FLEXLITE, and the design of RAD DIABLO! After about two hours, the waves stopped breaking, but I managed to catch 28 waves in the first hour and a half!!! (I proved I could catch a lot of waves!) Not all of the rides were long, but the fact that I was able to ride this long with my thighs and hips not having much power is a testament to the quality of the materials that are unique to PLACEBO. To be honest, the ZEKE was a better fit for the conditions that day, but I was still surprised at how much fun I had in such small conditions! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wELn-oHtjsM The PLACEBO RAD DIABLO I rode this time was 5'8" and 27.5cl, and my dimensions are 168cm and 62kg. The LOST RAD RIPPER at 5'8" has a CL of 29.25cl, but the PLACEBO RAD DIABLO has a lower CL value and is made of a different material, so while the paddle and take-off performance is the same, the movement is lighter and more responsive. If you watch the video of professional surfer Nishii above, you can clearly see how the surfboard flexes and converts into speed! https://vimeo.com/463326609 This time, I was able to once again appreciate the quality of the materials used in PLACEBO's "FLEX LITE-ULTIMATEⅡ" and the design of "RAD DIABLO"! For beginners and intermediate surfers who want to improve, as well as advanced surfers who want to surf easily. PLACEBO's "RAD DIABLO" and LOST's "RAD RIPPER" are highly recommended models that you should definitely try out! PLACEBO's "RAD DIABLO" is available >>>here! Click here to find LOST's "RAD RIPPER"!

Learn moreFreshly shot! LOST genre! Highly recommended "PARTY CRASHER" model!!
At the beach break at Ohara Parking Lot Point in South Chiba, I once again rode the new genre "PARTY CRASHER" model from LOST. Nishii was surprised at how well it moved despite being only 32cl. If you line up the two "SUB DRIVER 2.0" and "PARTY CRASHER" The outline from the bottom of the MAYHEM mark is We discovered that it is narrower than the "SUB DRIVER2.0" model! The center width of "PARTY CRASHER" is narrow compared to its length, The width from the tail to about 1/4 of the way is narrow, so it has great maneuverability!! Imagine a board with more responsive movement than the 5'10" SUB DRIVER 2.0 model in 32CL! If you buy it now, you can get the highly recommended model "PARTY CRASHER" for men who are in a great mood. You can ride it during the New Year's holiday!! https://www.luvsurf.co.jp/shop/?model_name=PARTY%20CRASHER&brand_name=LOST If you want to ride "PARTY CRASHER", click here!
Learn moreI was amazed! Here are my impressions of PLACEBO's "RAD DIABLO"!
Hello, I'm Kohei, a staff member. I've been interested in the PLACEBO 5'8" RAD DIABLO for a while now, so I've been riding it and would like to share my impressions with you! I got on at Chitose Point in the southern Chiba area. The wave conditions were thigh to waist high with sets up close to the chest, the wind direction was unstable but weak throughout the day and the surface was relatively good, but there were many early waves that were a bit damper, so at best the conditions were good for short rides. The PLACEBO 5'8" RAD DIABLO used by a 168cm, 62kg board is 27.5cl, while the all-round model I normally use is around 28cl, so the CL value is relatively low. However, the PLACEBO uses the one-of-a-kind FLEXLITE technology, which gives the board a feeling of buoyancy greater than the CL value, resulting in greater stability and faster paddling than usual. Everyone is curious about the speed of takeoff... I was surprised in a good way! PLACEBO's ``RAD DIABLO'' is based on LOST's ``RAD RIPPER,'' so it's extremely fast! The secret to its fast take-off and paddling performance is the nose volume made possible by the ``semi-beak nose'' and the ``semi-flat deck'' which leaves volume throughout the surfboard, clearly resulting in a stable paddle that is less likely to wobble. After taking off, the unique gliding performance of the DIABLO series, which has been passed down through generations, allowed us to ride at speeds that were impossible given the conditions that day, and we were able to get through sections that would normally be impossible to get through, allowing for a long ride full of action! And what surprised me the most this time was the technology of ``FLEXLITE-ULTIMATE II''! I've always loved the high strength and light weight of the PLACEBO surfboard, the fact that it doesn't discolor in the sun, and the fact that it's gentle yet highly resilient, effectively converting it into speed. I've loved the unique high-performance technology and have used various models over the years... https://vimeo.com/463326609 The original EPS core, developed exclusively for PLACEBO and adopted this year, and the effects of the carbon allow the surfboard to flex more than ever before, resulting in increased speed due to the rebound, and there was a clear improvement in performance! Compared to LOST's "RAD RIPPER," which is currently extremely popular and most sizes are only available by reservation, PLACEBO's "RAD DIABLO" is a little sharper, and although the materials are different, it is also more agile and I felt it was an all-round model that could be enjoyed by users of a wide range of levels. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wELn-oHtjsM "RAD DIABLO" is a friendly placebo that can be enjoyed by people of all levels, inherited from "RAD RIPPER". Learn moreRecommended only for cool guys! Why not try riding the "LOST Mid-Length Series" this New Year's holiday?
This is a suggestion from Nishii exclusively for older men who are Love Surf enthusiasts! It always gets extremely crowded during the New Year holidays. The ocean had the best wave conditions of the day, with the best wave information. Are you ready for some comfortable surfing? Whether it's small or big waves, take advantage of the high CL value to take advantage of the first wave of the set. He started paddling from the outside more than anyone else and stood up. Wouldn't you like to glide through the waves at high speed like flying? Since I was young, I have been riding the same thin bike since I was young, so I feel good. I misunderstood the appropriate age CL value and appropriate model, and sometimes I sank up to my chest while waiting for a wave. Don't become a pathetic old man who can't ride the wave! The high CL value makes paddling easy and the takeoff is quick. The narrow design makes it easy to move and ride. Three models in the "LOST Mid-Length Series" "PARTY CRASHER" https://www.luvsurf.co.jp/model/51224/ "RNF-ULTRA" https://www.luvsurf.co.jp/model/915/ "SMOOTH OPERATOR" https://www.luvsurf.co.jp/model/917/ is! Nishii, 55, also plans to ride the ``LOST Mid-Length Series'' over the New Year holidays to help deal with the crowds! The "LOST Mid-Length Series" can now be shipped to you by mail order so that you can receive it before the end of the year! If you have one "LOST Mid-Length Series" He has transformed from a silly old man into a cool old man! I highly recommend it as it will definitely come in handy even after the busy New Year's holiday season!!

Learn moreCold weather gear is booming this season! We have the soft and warm Love Surf exclusive "Cyber5x3mm Full Suit/G7-LIMITED" available now!
I mentioned SURF8's cold weather gear in yesterday's blog, but starting with fully custom-made wetsuits, this season's cold weather gear is moving very quickly. The delivery times for full orders from each wetsuit brand are now mid to late February, so they're apparently pretty busy! The winter season has officially begun, and when I tried on the wetsuit I had been using until last year, it had deteriorated so much that it would be difficult to go in the ocean in January or February... But with a full order, you can't get what you want when you want it... If you are one of those people, please consider the Love Surf exclusive "Cyber 5x3mm Full Suit/G7-LIMITED". It's a low-priced, high-quality semi-dry jacket made with plenty of the soft, highly insulating brushed material used in full-order orders! It features a Chest Zip System that prioritizes athletic performance, perfect for shortboarders, and also comes with an inner neck barrier to help prevent cold seawater from getting in during the winter! Stock sizes range from M to XL, so it's perfect for users with standard builds, but there are also MR and LR sizes available, so it can be used by users with larger builds too!
