At the NSA Junior Open held yesterday at Chikura Beach in Minamiboso City, Chiba, Check out the photos taken by Nishii at the "Ikko Watanabe" surf contest! In these photos, she has grown taller and her slim figure has become even slimmer. The board that Ikko Watanabe is riding is It's ``POCKET ROCKET''! It's so thin and moves so quickly that it's hard to tell when you're actually watching it in person. The fins are falling out like this, Ikko Watanabe has more advanced techniques than other players. The challenge is for judges to be able to distinguish between these two. Unfortunately, Ikko Watanabe lost in the semi-finals and finished in 5th place.
