Learn moreA report from the shaping room at LOST surfboard factory "MAYHEM"!
Nishii is currently residing in California. Every day, I've been working with MAYHEM in the shaping room to shape several new model ideas. We create test boards many times, but the most important thing is the design, and Mayhem designs them on a PC using the AKU machine's design software, as shown here. However, the design of the foam cut by the AKU machine is never perfect the first time, so we have to revise and change the design of the actual product many times. There is a discrepancy between the form on the PC screen and the form cut by the AKU machine, so I adjusted it many times. Once the cut design is perfect, the shaping stage begins. MAYHEM always says that they don't want even one bad board to be released into the world. This high level of pride as a shaper is what makes MAYHEM's boards so good. An essential part of the "Japan Limited Model" This is how Mayhem shapes the Dolphin Grab Rail. When I saw Nishii shaping the piece, I realized that the shaping process was very delicate. I think it's a very time-consuming and laborious task. This is a shaped bike imported to Japan with the signature of MAYHEM, which is used by everyone. A lot of MAYHEM's own work goes into each LOST surfboard . Nishii will be returning to Japan in mid-October, so please come visit Love Surf to hear the latest information! We look forward to hearing from you if you would like to know the latest information on the latest ``Japan Limited Model'' models!

Luvsurf TV: LOST " DRIVER " CARBON WRAP Kei Kobayashi Rider: Kei Kobayashi Board used: LOST " DRIVER " CARBON WRAP FILM: Koji Nishii EDIT: TABRIGADE FILM On the soft California waves This is a riding video of Kei Kobayashi riding a CARBON WRAP . This is a collection of riding videos that show how even after completing a trick, the board continues to pick up speed without stopping. The "Kay" has the smooth ride that only a CARBON WRAP board can provide. He's performing his signature air tricks and slash turns with great force. CARBON WRAP is a patented technology that uses two curved carbon bands. The characteristics of the EPS blanks are well combined, making it easy to draw out speed. Like the Kei, it performs best when ridden in softer waves than usual. So when QS competitors come to Japan, there are more surfers riding the Japanese waves than at POLY. Now, please take a look at the riding video of "Kay" riding the " DRIVER " model CARBON WRAP . [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/232032905[/vimeo]
Learn moreThank you everyone for coming to our store and purchasing so many brand new PLACEBO FLEXLITE-HYPER!
Mr. A, You chose PLACEBO's "GOBLIN" FLEXLITE-HYPER . He currently mainly rides the "CONQUEST EL-DIABLO" model, which he enjoys, but he wanted to try a shorter board to make it more nimble and easier to ride in small waves with little power. That made him want to try the "GOBLIN," and after hearing from a friend who was already riding it and saying how well it was performing, he narrowed his focus down and came to our shop. Mr. B, You chose PLACEBO's "GOBLIN" FLEXLITE-HYPER . He switched from a 5'8" high buoyancy board from another brand. We had done extensive research on the "GOBLIN," which has received high praise from actual riders. He wanted to increase the length to 5'10" and provide a moderate amount of buoyancy, so we recommended the largest size "GOBLIN" to him, and he liked it so much that he purchased it. Mr. C said, You chose PLACEBO's "GOBLIN" FLEXLITE-HYPER . He hadn't surfed in about four years. Despite that four-year gap, he was looking for a board that would allow him to ride the waves like before. He was also considering the popular all-around model "EL-DIABLO PLUS," but he liked the feel of a shorter board he borrowed from a friend, so he chose the shorter, easier-to-ride "GOBLIN" model. Mr. D, You chose PLACEBO's "GOBLIN" FLEXLITE-HYPER . He hadn't surfed in several years and had gotten rid of all of his previous boards, including the AVISO, so he came to our shop looking for a new board. He was debating between the 5'4" and 5'6" Goblin sizes, but he wanted to get back to surfing as soon as possible and didn't want to waste time deciding, so he decided to buy the larger size. Mr. D, PLACEBO "EL DIABLO-PLUS" FLEXLITE-HYPER was selected. Recently, a friend borrowed the previous model "CONQUEST EL-DIABLO" and tried it out. He said it was better than he expected and that he enjoyed surfing much more than with his current board. He came to our store and purchased the new model "EL DIABLO-PLUS," which has even better performance. Everyone! Please come visit us! A lot! Thank you for purchasing the new "PLACEBO" FLEXLITE-HYPER!

Luvsurf TV: LOST “VOODOO CHILD” POLYESTER Masato Yukawa Masato Yukawa Rider: Masato Yukawa Board used: LOST 『VOODOO CHILD』 POLYESTER FILM & EDIT: KOTA KUMAZAWA This riding video was filmed in California a few weeks ago with Masato and his exclusive cameraman, KOTA KUMAZAWA. The board he is riding is Mason's signature model , the VOODOO CHILD . Masato rode his first VOODOO CHILD this spring and fell in love with the model. I ordered almost all of my next boards as this ``VOODOO CHILD'' model. This model has thickness near the center of the center stringer line, The rails have been shaved down to avoid being too thin, leaving a rounded edge. The rail shape fits comfortably in your hand when you hold it. Masato is also doing full rail carving turns more than usual, Taking advantage of the thickness of the board center, this model can be ridden well without stalling. The beak nose is shaped like a bird's beak, and if you look closely you can see that you are riding this model just by looking at the nose. Taking advantage of the performance of "VOODOO CHILD" , Take a look at his signature combination of forehand air reverses and carving turns. [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/233170863[/vimeo]
