I achieved my personal best speed measured by my GPS smartwatch! It was 38.6km.
When I digitized my surfing records using a GPS surf watch, I got something like this: From the release date of November 11, 2014 to the date of use of April 30, 2015, This data is from approximately six months, or 172 days. *Number of days surfed: 74 *Number of rounds: 85 *Longest ride: 422m (Rincon, California) *Total number of rides: 2022 *Maximum speed 35.6km (Chitose, Chiba Minami) *Distance traveled: 739.8 km (Paddle & Ride) From Tokyo, across Osaka and Kobe, to just before Okayama, or from Tokyo to just before Aomori (surprise) *Time spent surfing: 8 days, 0 hours, 8 minutes (lol) Today the size has increased again from yesterday, I went surfing at LOWER, which is over 10 feet high according to SURFLINE (wave information). If you catch a right wave and a set comes in, you won't be able to get out, so I went up to the beach many times and surfed around the left current. The board I rode was a PLACEBO 5'8" CQ-EL-DIABLO FLEXLITE-CANDY. It's not specifically for big waves and it's short, but I wanted to test out the excellent all-around capabilities of this model. I caught a bigger wave than I expected, and my paddle caught up with the speed of the big wave, so I was able to surf. There was also a grab rail for dolphin-through, which was nice. Yesterday, I was riding the LOST "ROUND UP" model and got hit by the overhead soup many times. My hands were blown away from the rail. Today's dolphin was even bigger, and thanks to the grab rail I couldn't let go of it even once. To further enhance the effectiveness of the grab rail, apply a thin layer of FU WAX that is appropriate for the water temperature. It improves grip, so be sure to apply it when surfing on big waves. It's been a while since I rode Mayhem's masterpiece, the RNF-EVOLUTION model. This morning I went to UPPERS to take some surf photos. The conditions were unusually flat for California. The biggest set of knee-high waves that sometimes comes is this waist-sized, Nishii rode the waves according to the conditions for the first time in a while. PLACEBO 5'8" 『RNF-EVOLUTION』 FLEXLITE-BOOST model The round nose allows for a front-loaded takeoff paddle, allowing for quick lifting from swells. The turns were driven and I gained speed and was able to surf a big, clean line. Even with waves this high, about ankle to knee-high, the speed just keeps increasing. We were able to capture footage that shows how well suited it is for small waves. I returned to the Luvsurf USA office and immediately checked the footage. I went surfing at T-street this morning. The effects of the side onshore wind that blew yesterday are still lingering, As time passed, the side onshore wind started blowing again. The wind was getting stronger and stronger, so we went to look at other good spots. A big WSA contest was being held at Salt Creek.
