There was a time when leash cords were called power cords. They are also sometimes called leg ropes. At Love Surf, the majority of customers choose the ``LOST Leash Cord,'' so it quickly sells out of stock. Nishii, who is on site, selects items that have run out or are running low on stock to secure stock. This is also the stockroom for "LOST Traction," which can only be purchased at Love Surf in Japan. In California, it's standard practice to stick "LOST Traction" on any LOST surfboard you buy. All models from 2016 onward are still being produced and sold, and 2017 models have been added, so it's nice to have a wide selection to choose from. In the US, it's called "Traction," but in Japan it's more commonly called "Deck Pad. " Each model of LOST Traction comes in 3-5 color designs, so we recommend choosing one that matches the outline of the tail of your board. The Lost Carbon Wrap is a much more popular board in California than it was in its first year. Even in California, when the waves die down, knee-high to waist-high waves can last for weeks, so it's becoming common to have at least one EPS epoxy board, which paddles faster and takes off faster than a Poly board. LOST " PUDDLE FISH " When I lined up four of these boards, it looked like this. This tail shape is called a "reverse swallowtail." "Griffin Colapinto" * Competed in Heat 1 in Round 4. He just won the WSL Brazil last week and rounded up in second place, beating former world champion Adriano De Souza. * Competed in Heat 2 in Round 5. Competing against Dylan Goodale, he scored the highest score of the tournament, 9.57, on his first run, and also landed air reverses on the front and backside for a comfortable victory and advanced to the quarter finals! * Competed in Heat 1 of the Quarterfinals. I played against Flavio Nakajima from Brazil. I had a score of 8.5, but I couldn't get another score and lost. Since I came in 5th, I gained more QS points and my ranking went up by 25 to 9th!!! "Ian Crane" * Competed in Heat 6 in Round 4. With a total of 13.56 points, we came in second place and advanced to Round 4! The board he was riding was the "SUB-DRIVER." *Competing in Heat 5 in Round 5. I needed 4 points on the last ride, but I got on a set wave that easily gave me points. I had an unexpected wipeout and was eliminated here, finishing in 9th place. Since it was his own mistake, he looked very disappointed when he emerged from the water. He placed 9th, which increased his QS points and moved up two places in the rankings to 7th!!! "Beidic de Bryce" * Competed in Heat 7 in Round 4. The waves were very good, and I was riding a lot of waves. With a total of 15.30 points, we came in second place and advanced to Round 4! * Competed in Heat 8 in Round 5. The young player faced off against veteran former CT player Patrick Daugaskas. He made a comeback on the last ride and advanced to the quarter finals with a total of 13.97 points! * Competed in Heat 1 of the Quarterfinals. He faced Jesse Mendez, currently ranked number one on the QS rankings. Jesse Mendez finished with a score of 15.80, while Beidik de Bruys finished with a score of 15.17. Unfortunately, they were unable to advance to the semi-finals, but they did come in fifth place. With his 5th place finish, he gained more QS points and his ranking rose by 55 points to 24th!!! The board he was riding was the CARBON WRAP SUB-DRIVER. In this tournament, many riders were riding the LOST "CARBON WRAP" , This further proves its performance in matches!

He reflected that the reason he lost was because he had aimed for a bad position to wait for the waves. Ian Crane will compete in Heat 7. With a total of 15.44 points, we came in second place and advanced to Round 4! This is a big victory for him as he beat the formidable opponent Kanoa Igarashi! Beidik de Bryce will compete in Heat 11. With a total of 15.90 points, we came in first place and advanced to Round 4! A handsome South African boy riding a carbon wrap bike. Nishii told the people who were in attendance at the venue, The "CARBON WRAP" rate is amazing! Everyone is riding ``CARBON WRAP''! Seeing so many people riding it made me want a Carbon Wrap. Or, Is Nishii-san or Mayhem telling you to ride "CARBON WRAP"? People often ask me this, but LOST never gave any such instructions. They like to ride it. The CARBON WRAP is a great fit for the wave conditions in Japan, so the LOST team riders also like it. The fact that even unsponsored riders are buying and riding Carbon Wrap at their own expense speaks to the quality of the board. Other brands have released EPS epoxy carbon boards, but it's clear that they can't compete with Carbon Wrap. Michael Rodriguez had a springy surfing style and was landing air reverses one after the other, but a competitor in his heat had a better score on his last ride, causing him to lose out and come in third place. He was Nishii's favorite to win, and he was very good at riding his favorite BABY BUGGY model, the CARBON WRAP, so I would have liked to see him surf more in competitions. "Mason Ho" I was fine until last night when we were having dinner together. He dropped his iPhone this morning and the screen cracked, making him look listless, which worried me, but he also looked listless in the heat, finishing in 4th place. After the loss, he immediately went to get the screen repaired, and then booked an air ticket to fly straight to Indonesia, where a large swell was forecast. Nate Illemans is a former WCT surfer, as you'd expect. He gets a good score by using an Eggle turn to create a good spray. His backside air reverse netted him 7.5 points, which is impressive. Today, after the heat, we did the laundry together, and since it's supposed to rain tomorrow, we hung it out to dry indoors. Yago Dora hadn't been in great form since the free surfing session, and it was disappointing to see him finish in 4th place. Last week at the WCT in Brazil, he beat three current and former world champions in a row to finish in 3rd place, and he was a star athlete who was a favorite to win this time, so it's a shame. His carbon wrap was the DRIVER model! European rider Aritz Aramburu, also known as FU WAXER, was in the same heat as Griffin, 6, but was eliminated with a total of 11.96 points, unable to improve his score. Griffin Colapinto started Heat 6 by waiting alone on the side of the breakwater, but after 15 minutes he hadn't caught a single wave. He then moved to the middle peak where everyone else was, and caught two waves to finish in first place. When I met him after the heat, he told me that he hadn't heard the announcements during the heat and had been feeling anxious because he couldn't even catch a wave in the first half. LOST team rider, the top seeded athlete from round 2 The board that Macy Callaghan AUST was riding was LOST "BABY BUGGY" CARBON WRAP. He hit one on the front side and scored in the sevens. On the backside, he scored in the 8s, He easily won round 2. Because it was CARBON WRAP, the way my board handled was clearly different from the other riders. The waves at Shidashita today were small, but you could ride them for quite a long distance, so they ran well even on the slow, deep waves and I was able to ride the waves without any trouble.
