The new LOST TV series "MAYHEM MEDLEY" has been released, so we'd like to introduce it to you . This is a video of five people riding ``MAYHEM'' boards on waves similar to those at LOWERS skate park. It also lists the LOST model boards that are ridden, so please use it as a reference. "Noah Beschen x BEACH BUGGY" From this position, she stands up. The flexibility of a teenager's body is truly impressive! With the coaching of his father Shane, he will grow up in Hawaii in an environment where he can aim to become a world champion. "Ian Crane x SUB-DRIVER" He inherited the style of his senior surfer, Corey Lopez, from LOST, and his surfing skills are still improving, so be sure to remember his name. In 2013, he was selected for the WCT as a San Clemente local representative. "Adam Melling x SUB-DRIVER" He's riding the Aussie veteran MAYHEM board with great ease. Nishii has been in the ocean with him a few times, and his turn placement and timing are so precise that he watches his surfing and learns from it. This layback hack turn is a trendy move that's now required for competitors. "Julian Wilson x F1-STUB" He spins his board under his feet and lands in the water. He's the one who has the highest success rate in the world. His power surfing with thick lines on both the backside and frontside is cool. Doesn't it look like his board is about to break because of the power? Kolohe Andino x BEACH BUGGY This video was shot and edited by Kolohe's in-house videographer, Noah Alani. We travel together anytime, anywhere in the world. I live in the same house as Kolohe and I help him out behind the scenes. We take photos with an amazing camera called a RED EYE camera. So Kolohe's part in this movie is the longest at the end. Now, take a look at the refreshing and sharp surfing on the MAYHEM board. [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/80488842[/vimeo] Posted by Luvsurf .
Learn moreCollector's Edition! The Lost "CLASSIC" mark comes in three new colors for 2014!
This is the same LOST "Classic" mark that was used when LOST first appeared in the 1990s. It has been adopted in the recently popular "COUCH POTATO" and "LAYZ POTATO" models, It is a popular mark with a friendly atmosphere that everyone knows, We would like to introduce three new colors to the LOST classic mark that will be added in 2014. This is "SLATE". If you use it on a clear board, it will give a calm feeling. If you use it on a board made of XTR-FX material, the color will match the square carbon rails and look cool. This is "SUNSET," which, as the name suggests, is the color of a sunset. I would like to use it on clear boards as well as resin tint color boards to make them stand out. This is "SLATE", a color that I like. It would look great if you put it on a bright airbrushed board! Here is a list of LOST Classic LAM marks for 2014. You can choose from these options when placing a custom order. Of course, you can also specify the position on the board. Whether you plan to customize it or not, please choose which one you would like. If you place a custom order now, you can already use it! Which colour would you choose? Posted by Luvsurf .

Mr. A, LOST 5'10" "FISHQUEST 2" XTR V-FLEX material selected. He was using the LOST Conquest model, but I had been wanting to try riding it for a while. This FISHQUEST2 model XTR board was on sale , so it was a great deal! Mr. B, LOST 5'9" SUB DRIVER-JP selected XTR FX material. A friend who tried it at a test drive event gave it rave reviews and highly recommended the "SUB DRIVER-JP" model. The XTR-FX material is the latest material in the XTR series, so it's sure to attract attention even if you're not an XTR user! Mr. C said, LOST 5'11" SUB DRIVER-JP chose XTR FX material. This is the third XTR board user. This board was purchased as it has a narrower nose and is faster than the V2 ROCKET model. Mr. D, LOST 5'7" SUB DRIVER-JP chose POLYESTER material. The customer came to the store without having decided which model to buy, and looked at various boards in the store. He and his friend tried out the actual board and decided on the SUB DRIVER-JP, which seemed to work well. Mr. E, LOST 5'10" chose the FLEX-LITE-TURBO material for the TABLET II. He wanted a board that would allow him to ride a lot of waves, and he thought a longboard would be good. "He learned about the TABLET II model and decided it was perfect for his needs, so he purchased it." Mr. F, LOST 5'6" "LAYZ POTATO" POLYESTER RESIN TINT COLOR material was selected. It seems that the main board of the performance model is separate, but when it is small in size, This board was purchased as a comfortable surfing board even in small, weak waves. The wave conditions are different every day and every week, so you can switch boards to suit the waves and enjoy comfortable surfing every round. Please go surfing! Thank you to everyone who came to our store and purchased so many new surfboards!!! Posted by Luvsurf .
Learn moreTake a look again and we'll tell you some tips on how to attach and remove the FCSII fins.
Today I invited SHAW to join me and we shot with photographer Masuda on T-Street in San Clemente. This surf spot has a mixed reef and sand bottom located south of San Clemente Pier. Today, the wind was blowing from the side onshore again from the morning, so I took the photos in the evening when the wind died down. In California, it gets this dark around 5pm, and it feels like winter is approaching. The sunset was beautiful today and there were dolphins swimming offshore while we waited for the waves. This is where the story changes. Recently, we have seen many customers purchasing boards equipped with FCSII plugs. thank you! At the time of delivery, we will provide a lecture on how to attach and remove FCSII fins in the store. We have received inquiries from customers who have purchased our products online asking for detailed instructions on how to put them on and take them off. I have received a few, so I would like to share some tips on how to put on and take off FCSII fins again. ⇧Hook the front of the fin onto this rod-shaped protrusion at the front of the plug, which is pointed by your finger in the photo above. ⇧The correct position is when there is no gap in front, as shown in this photo. ⇧Please note that if there is a gap in the front as shown in this photo, the fins will not fit in properly. As shown in this photo, "hold the board around this position with one hand." To prevent scratches on the board, place a board case on the sand or grass, or on hard surfaces such as asphalt or concrete. Be careful not to damage the board. When removing your fins, please use the beach towel you always have with you when surfing. In particular, "When removing the fin, be sure to cover the thin part at the back of the fin to avoid hurting your hand when pulling up the fin." When you use it, your hands don't hurt and it's easier to apply force. At first, it may feel a little stiff, but after removing it a few times, the box and fins will become more comfortable. By removing it several times, you will get the hang of it, and understand the direction and amount of force to apply. You will be able to appreciate the benefits of the FCSII plug's quick and easy attachment and detachment functions. For more details, please refer to this previous blog post. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/24sblog/?p=21203 Even if you don't have a board with FCSII plugs yet, your new board may be FCSII. Please take a look at this as background information. Posted by Luvsurf .
Learn moreHabiyar from Epoxy PRO came to deliver the finished board.
In stark contrast to yesterday's midsummer weather, it's gotten so cold that you'll need gloves. On a cold, windy day like this in California, the waves aren't great. So I went to LOST Surfboards to work. Doing desk work while watching SHAW and the REEF contest live from Haleiwa, Hawaii. Javier from Epoxy PRO, the company that makes XTR boards, came to deliver the finished boards. Many custom order boards from Japanese customers have been completed. Of course, the stock board was also completed, so I checked it with Habiyar right away. It's time for inspection. The popular LAYZ POTATO XTR-FX spec board has been finished, albeit only a little. These will be immediately air-shipped to Japan and delivered to everyone who has made a reservation. Posted by Luvsurf .

All photos by Hayato Masuda This morning, I went to invite Mayhem to go surfing, but he had just woken up and had messy hair. He was shaping. Mayhem really loves shaping. The Mayhem family is within walking distance of the LOST surfboard factory. It is located just a few minutes' drive from LOWERS. There is no wind today and the waves are beautiful with an oily face. It's the perfect wave to test your board. Kei brought two boards. We are replacing FCSII fins with one touch, which can be replaced without tools or screws. Nishii was in charge of the video camera to film the two of them. The board Kei is riding is the "V2-SB." You can see a small mark in the center of his stance. MAYHEM was riding the test board again today. When we returned to the factory, we immediately incorporated today's feedback into a new design. The blanks cut by the AKU machine are Nishii recorded the process on video as he began shaping the blank. Every time a board is ridden, it is returned to the factory immediately, allowing for immediate design updates. Whether LOST surfboards are doing well and WCT surfers want them remains to be seen. This is because it is constantly being developed and evolving. Mayhem will be heading out to Santa Cruz for business starting tomorrow. Posted by Luvsurf .
Learn moreMayhem is constantly iterating on the design to make the board better and better.
All photos by Hayato Masuda This is a morning wave at LOWERS. It's a high tide and the break is closer to the shore, but it's a beautiful wave. Since it was free, I invited Mayhem to go surfing. We went to the LOST surfboard factory, and Kolohe's dad, Dino Andino has arrived. I'm waiting for the Kolohe board that Mayhem is shaping to be completed. Once it's finished, he takes it straight to the glass factory and has them quickly make the boards. He's a devoted father. It's a SUB-DRIVER round tail. Mayhem has been watching Kolohe since he was born. I'm working with Dino to shape boards with the goal of making him a world champion. Mayhem has finally reached a point where they can finish Kolohe's board. It's mayhem surf time at LOWERS, close to the factory. When we went down to the beach, SHAW&KEI's father, MASAKI, was flying high and catching some great waves. Since it was empty, Mayhem was able to catch a lot of good waves in a short amount of time. The waves here have long shoulders and open faces, making them ideal for testing the performance of your board. For lunch, we went to Mayhem's favorite sushi restaurant. This is an exchange of information between Japan and the US about the state of the surf industry in Japan and events in the US surf industry. LOST will be releasing new surf goods in spring 2014, so stay tuned! When I returned to the factory, I immediately started working on the blanks, which had an improved outline of the board I had just been riding. Cut with an AKU machine, The results of the test ride were immediately reflected in the board design. We have adjusted the thickness of each part of the board, the tail rocker, and the maximum position of the outline. At this rate, Mayhem is constantly iterating on the design, little by little, to make the board better. Posted by Luvsurf .
Learn moreI had a photoshoot with Mayhem and LOST riders on San Clemente's T-Street.
Today I had a photo session with Mayhem and LOST riders on San Clemente's T-Street. In the early morning, three schools were doing morning surfing practice, so there were about 200 kids surfers. Once that's over, it's adult time. This is the first time I've seen Taylor Wright surfing here on T-Street. He's FCSII. Chris Ward was the first to arrive. I brought the boards I had shaped for Julian Wilson out of the factory and tested them. Luke Davis now has purple and pink dyed hair and is instantly recognizable. A cool carving turn by Luke, a member of the LOST surfboards team and REEF's signature rider. Mayhem was also losing to the pros and lipping out a lot. Taylor Wright came from Australia to see Mayhem build the board and actually ride it. Apparently he's staying there to make a serious request. Taylor Wright, who had his V2-SB shaped by Mayhem, said he preferred the regular SUB-DRIVER. She is a surfer who rides with a narrow stance and a back stance, so she chose a SUB-DRIVER with a wide tail. Mayhem said that the design would match better. This is Mayhem, Dino Andino (Kolohe's father) Nishii and the 40-something generation of men, Today, the surfers who were riding boards with less rocker and more buoyancy than the pros were more likely to be in the water. We caught a lot of waves, how about FCSII? Do you like it? Here are some photos from today's session and during our discussion about boards. Posted by Luvsurf .
