It's a hot topic! It's rapidly gaining popularity and causing a stir. CONQUEST The price has almost been decided. The price is 160,000 yen excluding tax. It's not official yet, but it won't change dramatically. And what's more, the CONQUEST comes with a specially developed, handmade fin made in Japan! Mayhem wrote something down.

This happened last week when I was in Mayhem's shaping room. Suddenly, he started writing something on a form deck right next to him. Apparently he came up with a new logo for Lost and wanted to write it down somewhere right away... The Lost logo has changed four times so far. What do you think of this design this time? But don't you think it's a good idea? The logo is becoming more angular. The T is no longer rounded. Will this be a permanent hire?

WARD ride XTR5.C Paraboric stringer

We will release it in advance to those who are reading the blog! Lost Surfboards' ad finally features a photo of Chris Ward riding an XTR5.C Parabolic Stringer. At the top is the XTR5.C logo! And at the bottom, there is a long list of marks for models that can be made with the XTR5.C Parabolic Stringer! It's hard to tell from the image on this blog, but this board is an XTR5.C Paraboric stringer D/D! (D/D stands for Dual Density) And the white part in the background is a Japanese newspaper.

It's useful.

This happened the other day when I sneaked into Mayhem's shaping room to design the tail of a new board design. First, cut off the hand-drawn pencil outline with a saw. So, when I looked closely at the saw I was using, The words "nishii kouzii" were written on it with a label maker. Ah, that reminds me. This was when Mayhem came to Japan six years ago and came to shape his body. At that time, he asked me to lend him my saw, and this is what I gave him. I was happy to hear that you use it every day. It must be useful. But this is something I used in my home economics class in junior high school! (lol) I forgot but now I remember!

Precebo & Lost will be at the TATTOO event.

I went to a tattoo event held in Ariake, Tokyo. This is to exhibit the Precebo & Lost booth. In this way, selected tattoo shops from all over the country demonstrated their skills and competed. There is a skate ramp and you can watch Muay Thai matches in the ring. A Muay Thai match was being shown on a large monitor, and the camera was operated by Katsu from Impiancu Productions. Pro Katsumata discovered! There will also be a promotional screening of the DVD, which was filmed in Izu the other day and produced by Imamura Atsushi Productions, and in which Nishii also appears. I greeted him in the ring, but it was my first time in the ring, and when I jumped to the ropes, it hurt a lot.

LOST Official Import Exclusive!! This is the latest dream board.

First public release! For those over 35, overweight, and wanting to ride the waves! LOST Official Import Exclusive!! This is the latest dream board. What if Lost really created a 21st century rocket model? This is what happened! A dream for intermediate and senior surfers. I want to catch waves easily from further back in the peak, where there are many young, physically fit surfers. I want to catch a wave from the same position as a longboarder. However, rather than just riding the wave, I want to take action with ease. To make this dream come true, a board with a completely new concept was needed. In particular, in the crowded Japanese ocean, senior surfers, whose physical strength is declining and weight is increasing, need to win this fierce battle to ride the waves on the weekends. We put this request to Mayhem, the leader of Lost. So-called retro models that prioritize takeoff may be able to take off, but the action requires considerable skill. Long funboards make the action completely sluggish. Surfboard technology has evolved dramatically over the past 30 years. Lost, which supplies boards to many WCT surfers, wants to use its cutting-edge technology and know-how to create a new board with an entirely new concept, rather than a retro model outline. Mayhem was so enthusiastic about this concept that he tested it himself and created a new model that could be called the Neo Rocket. Rather than increasing buoyancy through length, the board is kept short, and the overwhelming volume provides super-buoyancy for unbelievable takeoff speeds. Conventional concepts of optimal buoyancy don't apply to this anti-gravity surfboard. Instead of a flat rocker like retro models, it uses a shark rocker, allowing it to move effortlessly and without pearling, even in deep waves. ◆The world's first elevator wing, a never-before-seen feature: the round pin squash tail. When upswung, the round pin allows for smooth, easy cruising. When the rails are tilted, the board becomes a short, squashed outline, shorter than the actual length of the board, making it easier to turn (similar to the effect of a diamond tail). Furthermore, the strong rocker in the elevator wing allows for incredibly quick turns, even with this volume. The round pin area has a deep double vee concave. The rails are rounded. ◆The fins come standard with a 5-fin system, allowing you to choose between 4-fin (QUAD) and 3-fin (TRI) depending on the waves and your preference. Take off from swells. Accelerate with fast upswings, take off in one action at the position where a normal short would take off, and ride smoothly with a fast takeoff even in hollow waves, making it an all-rounder for small waves to half-overboards. If you want quick and sharp movements, choose the Quad. If you want to attack with big turns in an orthodox way, choose the Tri. The concept is that you don't need to choose a fin system based on the size of the wave, but rather on the type of surfing you want to do. Mayhem filled out the form as TWO IN ONE / EVW / ROCKET TAIL. [First arrival size] 5'10" x 20 00" x 2.75" (178 x 50.8 x 7.00 cm) 62?75kg 5'11" x 20.25" x 2.81" (180 x 51.4 x 7.15 cm) 67?80kg 6'0" x 20.38" x 2.87" (183 x 51.7 x 7.30 cm) 70?82kg 6'1" x 20.50" x 2.93" (185 x 52.0 x 7.50 cm) 75?85kg 6'2" x 20.63" x 3.00" (188 x 52.4 x 7.65 cm) 80~95kg *The previous concept of appropriate buoyancy no longer applies. To fully enjoy the capabilities of this board, overfloat is recommended. Polyester (usually foamed) EVW Rocket tail (elevator wing/rocket tail) 5fins FCS plugs (5 fin FCS specification) The first shipment is scheduled for May or June. Price, arrival time, We will let you know again when other optional specifications are decided! *This year, it will only be sold by authorized dealers in Japan*

Parabolic Stringer

Parabolic stringer boards are not yet seen in Japan, but here in California, it seems that parabolic is the natural choice for the next board to ride. Yesterday, I went to Mayhem's new house, which he had only moved into four days ago, and while I was checking out the waves, I saw a set come in right in front of me, and a surfer coming up from the water, doing big carving turns on the frontside and grab airs in the close section, looking like he was enjoying himself. He was also riding Mayhem's Parabolic Stringer board. When he spotted Mayhem, he said the board was amazing. I later found out that he was professional surfer Micah Pitts.
