A sticker is attached to the C3 specification (CORK board) of the RNF-EVOLUTION model, This morning I took this photo at Salt Creek during high tide. There were clouds in the sky like this, but because there was light I was able to take a good photo. I highly recommend the C3. After that, I went to LOST Surfboards to check out the last shipment of boards to be sent to Japan this year. I found this amazing board with a custom color order. And here are the boards freshly packed to be sent to Julian Wilson! We also finished cutting out MAYHEM letter stickers that are roughly the same size as the ones on the board. It will arrive in Japan and go on sale by the end of the year, so please look forward to it!

This morning's LOWERS. The waves were small but beautiful. It has been held at T-STREET since yesterday. I went to watch the SURFING AMERICA PRIME event. This is a high-level qualifying event featuring the best 24 competitors in each age class in California. Apparently, regional qualifiers will be held in Hawaii, Florida, and other places. This contest will determine the US Surf Team riders who will compete in the LOWERS finals, which will attract riders from all over the United States, and then go on to the world championships. Boys under 18 Girls under 18 Boys under 16 Girls under 16 Boys 14 and under There are five of these classes. Chris Ward's daughter Maria was also competing. The photo is of Dana Point Harbor, and it's been raining in Orange County all day today. It's going to rain again tomorrow, so a low pressure system will pass through and the waves will likely get bigger. This is a glass factory exclusively for LOST surfboards. Before installing the fins, we use air to blow away excess foam powder. This is the FUTURE fin box being installed. As shown here, the work is done with the special fins attached. Terry is working in the airbrush room. Apparently it was an order from a girl. ARCTIC's new foam is a dazzling, vibrant white color with a pale blue glow. What MAYHEM is showing us is FISHQUEST2's XTR 3D CARBOLIC. Of course, once completed it will be sent to Luvsurf. Here we see the design from MAYHEM, who are evolving the SUB-SCORCHER. This is a test board based on ORCA. It has a babel edge, so it looks like it will work well. This is the factory currently under expansion. The space for silk printing the logo has been enlarged. It seems that it will also be possible to print the marks of San Clemente surfboard brands other than LOST here. Don't do it, MAYHEM!

There are lots of small waves and everyone in Florida is smiling. It looks like fun! Apparently Chris Ward also went to ride this wave. Ward's footwork in hunting for good waves is impressive! The waves are good enough compared to Japan, The high tide wasn't great and visibility was obscured by thick fog. It seems that fog occurs because the air temperature is high, the water temperature is low, and there is no wind. If you go to the LOST surfboard factory, you will see beautiful hand-painted boards like this. There was a V2-ROCKET board. It was apparently for an exhibition that was being held this weekend. This is the shelf where the marks used on LOST surfboards are stored. This is Nishii's personal XTR stringerless test board, model "SUB-DRIVER-JP". Each board looks different when you see it in its form than when you see it once it's finished. The dimensions of the board are as follows: When I went to the XTR factory with that board, The custom V-FLEX board for "SUB-DRIVER-JP" is almost complete! The Kevlar carbon material wrapped around the 3D CARBOLIC rails allows for flex in four directions! What Habiya showed us was a manta ray-like board where the body and fins are integrated with foam. It seems that if fins are made out of foam, there will be a lot of unnecessary parts and the cost will be high. I immediately had a hole drilled to install an FCS FUSION plug. We'll have to wait until the weekend to see what this stringerless test board will look like.
