The WCT at Trestles has ended.

(Posted on) September 18, 2006, 1:13 PM The winner was Australian rookie surfer Beat Darridge, who beat Kelly in a fierce final. I was staying at the same hotel as the winner, Beat, so I borrowed the trophy and took a commemorative photo. This hotel is the closest to the contest venue and is within walking distance, so it seems to be very popular with the surfers. Andy was there, as were South African surfer Travis Roggie, who rides the Mayhem shape boat, and Aussie surfers Dadj Burrow, Mick Fanning, and Shon Kander.

Andy wins his first WCT victory of the season

(Posted on) June 25, 2006, 11:34 PM Did you watch the live broadcast of the Rip Curl Pro WCT tournament that took place in Mexico last week? What surprised me was the quality of the waves! In the tube riding battle, depth and length were reflected in the score, and boards were breaking into pieces. In round 1, even WCT players got stuck and had a hard time getting out. It's like this. The event was held in La Jolla, Mexico, and it was amazing to see such big, high-quality waves in Mexico! It seems that it has been kept almost a secret until now, but this will be the point's world debut. The final round had already been held, and the waves were so amazing that even a regular surfer like me could drool. The contest started around 10pm in Japan and went on until around 4am. The internet has really evolved, with the ability to send live email messages to the competitors and download highlight podcasts to your iPod for free. The website is below. If you visit this website, you can check out the highlight videos from each round. http://www.aspworldtour.com/ripcurlpro/ Corey Lopez on Presebo and Chris Ward on Lostboard, who had been staying at the contest location for two weeks to get to know the wave patterns, were two riders worth keeping an eye on and looked in great shape, but both were sadly defeated in Round 4. What a shame! There are players who ride the same Lost and Presebo as us, and am I the only one who finds it more fun to watch than the soccer World Cup? The Expression Session featured regulars Cory, Kelly, Okkie and Tom Cullen. That's why I've been a little sleep-deprived these past few days... It's a good thing the waves are small though... haha) This was Andy's first win of the season.

Billabong Pro J-BAY has finished!

(Posted on) July 23, 2006, 11:12 PM Mick Fanning, who won his first victory of the year after a close final battle with Daji Burrow, who has been on a roll recently, appeared to be on top form. The waves were decent in the final, but the event wasn't as excellent as usual. Our very own Chris Ward of Lost was in the same heat as Corey of Precebo in Round 1, and then in Round 2 against Okie, forfeiting his heat. It's a mystery why Ward didn't compete in the contest. Did he drink too much and oversleep? Perhaps he got injured again? I'm worried. It's a mystery, so I'll ask Mayhem about it. I'll report back later. http://www.billabongpro.com/jbay06/results.asp?rLingua=gb You can see the digest, photos, videos, heat results and scores here!

Everyone! Thank you for coming to our store and purchasing so many new "LOST" LIGHT SPEED2 surfboards!

Mr. A, He chose LOST's "SUB DRIVER3.0" LIGHT SPEED2. He was currently using his beloved "DRIVER3.0" DOUBLE DART and was looking for a board made of MAYHEM that would perform well and be suitable for smaller waves. He had always wanted to try out the new "LIGHT SPEED2" board, and purchased the 5'9" size shortly after it was released. Mr. B, He chose LOST's "SUB DRIVER3.0" LIGHT SPEED2. This customer started surfing with a MAYHEM board, and although he has tried boards from other brands, he ultimately finds MAYHEM to be the best fit. He is currently using the "RNF'96" model with great success, and is also planning to purchase an additional board in the same size but made from a different material. He also purchased the "SUB DRIVER 3.0" separately this time, as he had previously ridden the original "SUB DRIVER" model and had a good impression of it. In addition, the slimmer shape of this model was also a deciding factor in his purchase of the 5'8" size. Mr. C said, He chose LOST's "SUB DRIVER3.0" LIGHT SPEED2. He used to ride EPS blank boards, but recently he has been riding POLY because he finds it easier to ride. However, after watching riding videos of the LIGHT SPEED2 and BLACK SHEEP, he felt he wanted to try riding these LOST EPS boards. He was unsure whether to choose the LIGHT SPEED2 or BLACK SHEEP technology, but chose the LIGHT SPEED2 in size 5'6". Mr. D, He chose LOST's "SUB DRIVER3.0" LIGHT SPEED2. He had crashed his PU board, the SUB DRIVER3.0, which he had been using well, and is currently undergoing repairs, but as the repair would not be completed in time for an upcoming contest, he came to the shop looking for a new board. The LIGHT SPEED RAD RIPPER model showed no signs of EPS weaknesses, and a friend of his had also used it and it worked very well, so he was interested in the newly released LIGHT SPEED2, and in the end he decided to ride the LIGHT SPEED2 SUB DRIVER3.0. Mr. E, He chose LOST's "SUB DRIVER 3.0" LIGHT SPEED2. He is a veteran surfer who currently uses the LOST 3.0 STUB DRIVER Black Sheep Built. Previously, he was using another brand of EPS, but was not satisfied with it, so he switched to the LOST 3.0 STUB DRIVER Black Sheep Built. He says that he has found it to be a great board and cannot let it go. He was then interested in the SUB DRIVER 3.0, and after quickly learning that LOST's original new EPS technology, LIGHT SPEED II, had been released, he visited Love Surf. He was unsure which size to choose, but chose 5'7", which is close to Magic's 3.0 STUB DRIVER. Everyone! Thank you for visiting our store! Thank you for purchasing the new "LOST" surfboard LIGHT SPEED2! https://youtu.be/cIbXtCArOm0

New release! New surfboard technology for the RNF'96 model: LIGHT SPEED2!

We're announcing the release of a new product! Fans of the RNF'96 model should definitely check it out! Recently, Love Surf was the first in the world to unveil Lost's new surfboard technology, "LIGHT SPEED2," which will be launched in 2025. We've received an overwhelming response. As expected, many of Love Surf's website visitors are surfboard enthusiasts, and they seem to have taken an interest in this new EPS/EPOXY technology board. Nishii has actually completed a test ride on the "LIGHT SPEED2" and has begun riding two stockboards of the same quality as the ones we'll be selling soon. Compared to the previous Light Speed, the "LIGHT SPEED2" offers increased stability and ease of riding, and the "High Densile Glass Fiber" built straight into the centerline from nose to tail enhances turning, making it a board we can confidently recommend. Among them, the RNF'96 model stockboard, the one Nishii most wanted to ride, has just been released. Available board sizes range from 5'4" to 5'10". The board features a gradient black airbrush finish on half of both side rails, creating a faded look that makes for a stunning finish. Even if you're used to riding boards with the same EPS/EPOXY technology, like the Black Sheep Built or Double Dart, you'll be able to experience the difference in performance and riding feel of the LIGHT SPEED2 technology thanks to its multiple fiberglass construction. The LIGHT SPEED2 is another new epoxy board you're sure to love. The price is ¥198,000 (tax included). Check out this newly released YouTube video of Nishii explaining the board and riding it, and then hurry up and purchase your RNF'96 model LIGHT SPEED2 stockboard in the right size here before it sells out. The LIGHT SPEED2 can be summed up in one word: agile. It's fast in every way: from bottom to top, to the rotation speed of the board when you rip, to the flow speed when you're gliding through the wave! The LIGHT SPEED2 board's light weight allows it to react and move quickly, making it feel like you're under a spell with this "magic technology"! https://youtu.be/OYESHQ2KiNo

You can really see the performance of a surfboard by riding it on pool waves!

I was checking out the footage of the Palm Springs Wave Pool I visited the other day, which I received from Kenta PRO cameraman. As expected, when you ride waves in a pool, you can ride the same waves repeatedly, so you can really get a feel for the board's performance. The RNF'96 LIGHT SPEED2 that Nishii is riding has a fast takeoff even in freshwater waves in a pool, I stood up, went down to the bottom, and from the first bottom turn the board flexed so much that I was gaining a lot of speed. As the car picked up speed on the first turn, I could see the spray flying well. When you ride in a web pool, you can see the difference in the performance of the surfboard, so you can check it out on video. Nishii also fell in love with this board, the RNF'96 LIGHT SPEED2. I encourage everyone to get this ``LIGHT SPEED2'' and try surfing. He likes riding high-performance, high-tech boards like Double Dart and Black Sheep Built. We recommend "LIGHT SPEED2" to users as it is different! https://youtu.be/q0uNG3ATrzw
