In English slang, black sheep means "troublemaker," referring to someone who has a slightly bad attitude in a group. It's the perfect image for Lost. A model bearing this name, which is synonymous with Lost, was released in 2011. While you might think it's a unique model, the name was actually given to an all-around player who has the performance of two boards that can be used for all-around purposes. We recommend it to those who want to ride the same familiar board without having to change boards, no matter what waves or conditions. This short, hybrid design is the result of combining two of Mayhem's most popular and established models. It's a hybrid of two smash-hit models: a Rocket design from the center to the nose and a Sub-Scorcher design from the tail. The gentle bottom rocker curve is also a combination of the two models. The nose outline is more rounded than the Rocket to enhance speed performance, creating a shape somewhere between a rounded nose and a pointed nose. To make the board more agile and responsive, Mayhem's original "Super Swallow Tail" design is combined with a VEE bottom, ensuring easy back-foot control despite the thick, wide tail. The VEE bottom enhances control and aids in smooth rail-to-rail movements, while the Super Swallow Tail gradually reduces excess speed while adding tail bite for hard turns. To ensure this is your magic board in any wave, the tail stance section of the deck features a "lock deck concave" on the surface where your back foot rests. This locks your back stance and prevents unnecessary wipeouts. It's neither a rounded nor a pointed nose, but a new outline with just the right amount of roundness. It has good speed and stability in any wave, and it's great for speed. With a gentle tail rocker and a tail shape that's easy to maneuver, it's a board that can be ridden well on both thrusters and quads. (Even if the deck grip is set on the "lock deck concave", the locking function remains unchanged and there's no problem.) * Includes five FCS Glass Flex fins. The LOST "SUB-DRIVER" model is now in stock with Polyester Mesh Carbon Tail Patch material! This is Kolohe Andino's favorite model, and the performance and success of this board are This cutting-edge model is changing the way competition boards are designed by even the most famous shapers around the world. Even Mick Fang won the WT contest held in Trestles, California in 2011. This is a masterpiece from Mayhem that I used. It's slightly shorter than a standard tri-fin and can be ridden with a slightly wider size, making it an aggressive design that suits the wave conditions in Japan well. In addition, it is made of lightweight, highly resilient XTR PARALLEL FLEX material, which has excellent athletic performance and durability. We also have stock boards of SUB-DRIVER models in stock! The XTR PARALLEL FLEX material offers a supple ride with a strong, resilient flex. The carbon and Kevlar laminated to the bottom foam and wrapped with XTR epoxy resin increases the repulsion with each rider's weight, allowing for effortless speed. The board itself is incredibly light, making it easy to handle and allowing for quicker movement in all aspects of surfing. Mayhem is for promotion, It is shaped only for PRO, Love Surf has started accepting custom orders as soon as possible. We will provide many photos as examples. Nishii recently visited Ensenada, Mexico. We visited the ARCTIC FOAM factory and were shown the entire process of making this color foam. How these colors and patterns are applied is top secret, and there are areas where photography is prohibited. Currently, due to the time and effort required, production numbers are still low and the number of units arriving at Love Surf is also low. We can accept custom orders if you specify the same colors as these. The price will be 8,400 yen extra. We are currently selecting a good color combination for Mayhem and creating a color sample. Please choose from this blog for now.
Learn moreNew model announced! For those who prefer the stealth performance balance!
Lost's new model announced! "V2-ROCKET" MAYHEM has improved the original rocket model, This board is designed with increased drive to handle bigger waves than the original Rocket model. This model is recommended for those who prefer a performance balance similar to that of a stealth model rather than a competition-style thruster. The classic ROCKET has been revamped! This MAYHEM tune-up adds even more driving performance! What are the features of V2 ROCKET? -High controllability even in deep or large waves ・Wide range of wave sizes ・For intermediate and above ・Knee-waist to overhead recommended The V2 Rocket is a redesigned and tuned version of the classic Rocket. Based on extensive feedback over the past few years, the V2 Rocket was released. Aimed at average surfers, it offers more control in both small and large waves. The original Rocket now boasts a more drive-like feel, making it a board everyone can enjoy. The V2 inherits the original Rocket concept with a slightly stronger rocker. The concave is less and the design is smoother. This increases the sense of drive when turning. The tail now has a softer wing and concave to allow for more control in tight pockets and more extreme changes of direction than before. It is suitable for a wider range of waves than the original Rocket, from knee-high to overhead. The tail rocker has been relaxed, and the concave leading into the fin is shallower, deeper towards the nose, and longer overall. The rail line is more accelerating, and the new soft wing helps change direction instantly at the top and provides more hold on the bottom. It offers more control in deep and larger waves than the original Rocket. The nose rocker is slightly stronger than the original Rocket. It extends over about a foot to help balance when launching in a tight position and prevent pearling. The concave position is shifted further forward, and the rail line is thinner for more front-foot drive, allowing for quicker acceleration after launch. The rail line in the tail is sharper. The rear footboard features a subtle double concave and a loose, squared-off, boxy tail rail. The nose is slightly wider from 12 to 18 inches. The original Rocket has been one of the most popular bikes in the world for the past few years, the most recognizable, and one of the bikes that has beaten all others in recent memory. The original Rocket had clear advantages and many surfers have successfully used it, but there is always room for improvement with any model. So I used feedback from average surfers to make improvements. The original Rocket is still available for purchase. The V2 Rocket is not a replacement for the Rocket. Shaper/Matt Mayhem Biolos Nishii was also thinking about the color when he ordered it right away. These are the color ideas I came up with earlier in Illustrator for the V2-ROCKET board color. I'm still deciding which one to choose, but if you'd like, please feel free to use this as a reference. If you want to see more photos of the V2-ROCKET, ⇩⇩⇩⇩You can see it here. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/board/lost_model.html#V2rocket

Learn moreWe have provided a detailed explanation of the ``RNF-EVOLUTION'' with photos.
The popular Placebo "RNF-EVOLUTION" We receive many inquiries and advance reservations every day. !!!!!thank you!!!!! We have three sizes on display at Love Surf, but we hear that many people are busy with work and would like to visit our physical store but are unable to do so. We will now explain in detail the design of the "RNF-EVOLUTION". The tail design is a double bump wing super swallow tail, a combination that is only used on the RNF-EVOLUTION. The "double bump wing" refers to the two small wing sections that make up the outline on the left and right sides of the tail. The first narrows the outline from the widest point of the board to the tip of the tail, and the second narrows it even further. The RNF-EVOLUTION is a longer board, so when Mayhem designed this model, they assumed the average Japanese foot size was 25-27cm, and added not one but two bump wings to make it easier to control for feet between 25-27cm. There is another corner inside the two-part swallowtail at the tail end. A common tail shape that does not have this corner is called a swallowtail, but the tail design of the RNF-EVOLUTION model has an additional corner, so it is called a "super swallow" tail. This corner has the same effect as a wing, and when the rider steps on the tail of the RNF-EVOLUTION model, the corner catches the water surface, making it easier to control the board. This effect makes tail control easier, especially when the board goes too fast, so be sure to try it out for yourself. Rail shape. This is a photo of the RNF-EVOLUTION model, 6'1" in size, with the thickest rails. The rail shape is the line where your hand touches the board from your index finger to your thumb. You can see that the rails are uniquely soft, gradually thinning from the tip of your index finger. As you can see, the RNF-EVOLUTION model is by no means a thick rail model. It has a thin rail shape that makes it easier to get into the wave face. This is the entry concave. The far side is the nose and the near side is the tail. Look at the shape of the gap between the board and the spirit level. The level has a large gap in the center of the board, and both rails are touching. It has a gentle single concave. This is an important entrance that regulates the flow of water over the bottom when paddling or riding. This is a mid-concave in the middle of the board, which is slightly deeper than the entry concave. And here we have a double concave front fin, with the board rising in the middle. The water flow is split between the fins, and the water that flows into the bottom is quickly expelled to the rear of the board, preventing the tail from sticking to the water surface. It also improves the rider's control of the movement of the board using the rails and tail as desired. The bottom shape of the middle fin area is a unique line design that combines VEE and double concave. From here, it flattens out to the tip of the Super Swallowtail. This is how it changes into a VEE design. The concave adjusts the water flow on the bottom of the board, making the board float and giving it speed. VEE is an important board design that makes it easier to control the board with your back foot. This is a side view of the tail area. The tip of the tail is flat and angled from the center, with a sharp VEE. You can see how the vee plane angle changes into a curve and connects with the rounded double concave near the front of the front fin. This is the world's first dolphin grab. When dolphining, you hold the rail in this concave part as shown in the photo, and perform the dolphin movement just as the wave breaks and passes. The key is to hold on to the rail and sink the entire board. The effect of the dolphin grab is guaranteed to allow you to dive deeper than usual. The effect of the dolphin grab is truly amazing, and I can assure you that anyone can experience the complete difference between having it and not having it. Please see the special page for photos of the board. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/camp/placebo_RNFevo.html The first shipment is scheduled for late March to early April, and we are now accepting pre-orders! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/contact/contact.php To make a reservation, please call us or use this inquiry form. Of course, we are also happy to consult with you before making a reservation if you are unsure about sizes. Please feel free to contact Nishii.
Learn more"RNF-EVOLUTION" and other Placebo models and design comparison
Today, let's compare the much talked about "RNF-EVOLUTION" model with a Placebo model that is thought to have a similar design. The bike on the right with the tail grip attached is a 5'11" Lancer Evolution . The one in the middle is the 6'0" "UBER-FISH" model, On the left is a 6'1" Lancer Evolution . Although it has the same swallow-type tail design, you can see that the Lancer Evolution is narrower and smaller than the UBER-FISH model. And here is a comparison with the 5'10" BLACKSHEEP on the left . I placed a 6'1" Lancer Evolution next to it, and it turns out that the tail of the 6'1" Lancer Evolution is smaller and thinner. Next up: On the right is the 6'0" "UBER-FISH" In the middle is a 6'1" Lancer Evolution On the left is 5'10" "BLACKSHEEP" Compare the difference in swallowtail width. Because the tail of the Lancer Evolution is thin, when you step on the tail, it acts as a pivot, digging into the water and acting as a fulcrum to turn the board. This creates the Super Swallow effect. The tail area is thin, so one of the features of the Lancer Evolution is that you don't feel like you're riding a long board. Now let's compare these three outlines. The right 6'0" "UBER-FISH" and the left 5'10" "BLACKSHEEP" have slightly pointed round noses. The middle 6'1" Lancer Evolution has a straight rail line from the center of the board's widest point to the nose. It is connected to the nose and the tip of the nose is the roundest. The center line of the surfboard is straight, so the longer it is the more drive it will have. This time, I placed the 5'10" UBER-FISH on the right . In the middle is a 5'11" Lancer Evolution On the left is 5'10" BLACKSHEEP . The 5'10" UBER-FISH originally has a rounder nose than the 6'0" UBER-FISH. The reason is that the other sizes of the "UBER-FISH", the 5'6" and 5'8" "UBER-FISH" models, All three sizes, including this 5'10" "UBER-FISH," have the same round design. The "UBER-FISH" model is only available in the 6'0" size. This size/model was added two years after the release of the UBER-FISH, so only the 6'0" size has a narrower nose. Of these, the one with the most rounded shape is the 5'11" Lancer Evolution. The round nose is wider and flatter than other models, so it pushes up the waves and takes off faster than other models. The 5'10" UBER-FISH and the 5'11" Lancer Evolution. The 5'11" Lancer Evolution has a thin nose so the tip of the board doesn't feel heavy. The flip nose rocker design at the tip is also a well-designed and functional design that prevents the nose from feeling heavy. The length and surface area of the Lancer Evolution board make paddling and take-off speeds quick and easy. When riding, make sure your back foot is firmly planted on the deck grip and turn at the top, and the board will produce a large line and a big spray. The Lancer Evolution is a board designed for adults to ride on lines. The first shipment is scheduled for late March to early April, and we are now accepting pre-orders! To make a reservation, please call us or use this inquiry form. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/contact/contact.php Of course, we are also happy to consult with you before making a reservation if you are unsure about sizes. Please feel free to contact Nishii. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/camp/placebo_RNFevo.html There are only a few towels left as gifts for the first 100 people who pre-order before the arrival of the product. Please consider purchasing them soon. (The silver color 5'11" Lancer Evolution, available exclusively at Murasaki Sports, is SOLD OUT.)
