BlackSheepBuilt boards are crafted to be fast, responsive, and lively, utilizing ultra-lightweight 1.5 lb (680g) EPS blanks (foam) as the cutting edge material core and our exclusive "Triax" premium carbon fiber. Lightweight and flexible, yet incredibly strong.

• The Triax Carbon is glass laminated to the deck with epoxy resin for both durability and performance. The deck is wrapped around the edges of the rails without wrapping the bottom, and the Triax is then encased in 4 oz. fiberglass.
• It's designed for quick response, with flexible flex and overall feel underfoot.
• The combination of Triax carbon and fiberglass gives BlackSheepBuilt boards a lively, exciting yet approachable performance.
• The unique performance of BlackSheepBuilt boards comes from their "Triax" carbon, which combines a triaxial layup with a multidirectional "uncrimped" carbon that enhances and controls torsional forces from rail to rail.
• The 0° fiber from tip to tail provides a lively "stringer" that increases flex rebound speed and quick response when pressure is applied.
• +30/-30° fiber, angled rather than 90 degrees to the stringer line from nose to tail, controls and speeds up torsional recovery throughout the board. Multiaxial carbon fiber is constructed with alternating layers of unidirectional carbon reinforcement, making it a superior alternative to traditional woven carbon fiber.
• Because it's not woven, the fibers don't "crimp" under or over the vertical fibers like traditional woven fabrics. The fibers lie flatter, retaining less resin for a smoother, straighter, stronger, and more natural flex. Unlike traditional carbon, there's also no 90-degree rail-to-rail carbon, reducing weak points for decks that break, buckle, crack, or break.
• With a +30/-30° fabric orientation, torsional forces and pressure from the surfer's feet radiate further outward on the rail line, creating greater drive, connection, and control with the board's edges and perimeter. Strength and stability underfoot and along the rail line work together.

WARNING: Carbon fiber surfboards heat up easily! They, like all darker colors, will heat up in the sun so be careful.

These are high-end carbon fiber surfboards. Please handle them with care. Do not leave them in your car for extended periods of time. While you're sunbathing at the beach with your board, keep your BlackSheepBuilt boards out of direct sunlight. They can overheat and bubble. Protect your investment and take proper care of them. We recommend storing these boards safely in a heat-reflective white or light-colored board case. If you plan to spend time in the sun before or after surfing, bring your board case with you to the beach. If your board gets dented, be sure to let it dry and repair it properly with epoxy resin. With proper care and love, these BlackSheepBuilt boards will hold up extremely well, remain light and very lively on the waves, and provide longer surfing enjoyment.

The USA custom order "BlackSheepBuilt" only accepts orders for carbon (black) deck surfaces.
Custom orders are available for each model of USA-made POLY board, with an additional charge of ¥74,800 (tax included) on top of the base price.
