Model explanation
The Puddle Jumper HP is a slimmer outline version of the Puddle Jumper, with improved performance. It features a longer nose, a slightly narrower width, and a narrower tail block. The new outline allows the PJHP to surf like a high-performance board, making it easier to paddle and more fun to ride, with the most aggressive and fast turns of any PJ series model.
When you hold it under your arm and look at it, you'll feel comfortable, stylish, and elegant. Its simple, smooth outline gives it more volume than it looks. It also features an original concave that allows for instant acceleration.
Even in small waves, it's fast and easy to control, almost like it has a motor, making it easy to perform up-and-down and rotational maneuvers. Riding the tail end in a back stance allows for sensitive top-to-bottom rotations. The bottom features a deep, single-to-double concave exclusive to this PJHP model, smoothing the water flow and eliminating resistance, allowing you to flap across the waves like a wing. The tail's vee angle increases toward the end, allowing the wide tail to flap effortlessly.
The complex tail design with a vee gives you confidence approaching the wave while maintaining high speed. The flat rocker throughout and the wide, deep concave starting from the middle create the lift, drive and pop maneuvers you'd expect in small waves.
