Model explanation

In 2019, the famous Austrian web magazine STAB conducted a telephone survey of 100 surf shops around the world and announced that the LOST RAD-RIPPER model was the best-selling surfboard model in the world.

Based on that model, shaper and designer Matt "MAYHEM" Biolos quickly retuned it for us Japanese surfboards as a design exclusive to PLACEBO surfboards.

The traditional PLACEBO surfboard elevator wing assists the initial movement of turns, allowing for a combination of nimble rail work and maneuverability. The modest semi-beaked nose shape allows the board to carry volume all the way to the tip of the nose, allowing for forward-loaded paddling, resulting in faster paddle advancement and a quicker takeoff. The semi-flat deck design gives the board a thick center, but it easily catches the water, and the combination with the thinned semi-staped rail at the tip allows you to turn on the wave exactly as you want. The bottom surface design ranges from single to double concave to spiral vee. This complex bottom design not only provides excellent gliding performance and lift, but also allows for speed and effortless maneuvering.

The latest all-rounder model in the DIABLO series has been born, combining the good qualities of the nostalgic 80's design with a modern twist to make surfing fun for all levels. It is easy to paddle and can handle a wide range of conditions, from small to large waves.
