I rode the new "RNF-RETRO", a magic board that Nishii has made over the years!
This is Nishii's classic magic board, "RNF RETRO."
This board is the shortest and easiest to ride model in the RNF model series.
This model is called Retro,
Unlike other FISH boards,
The drawback of twin fins is the loose instability that makes it difficult to create lip action.
The QUAD fin configuration is designed to eliminate this and provide more drive.
Veteran surfers who have been doing performance surfing for many years,
Even if you get a popular twin fin FISH, you will not be able to ride it like a sponge board,
That won't happen with the RNF RETRO, one of Nishii's greatest magic boards of all time.

このYouTubeで注目したいのは「イアン・クレーン」が「ラスタ・ロブ」と一緒に2人で『LIGHT SPEED2』に乗っています。
2人ともスタブハイでの優勝経験があるエアがとてもうまいサーファーなのですが、
ビーチブレイクの程良いサイズのパワーのある波でLIGHT SPEED2』に乗っているところです。
日本だとこれぐらいのサイズは波が大きい方になると思いますが、これぐらいのサイズや力のある波でも『LIGHT SPEED2』は機能しています。
「イアン」が乗っているのはカラーペイントしてあるのでわかりづらいのですが『SUB DRIVER3.0』モデルのスワローテイルの『LIGHT SPEED2』です。
