The SMOOTH OPRATOR was developed by MAYHEM so that when he goes surfing with his children, he can go to safe spots with small waves and still enjoy himself even when the waves are small.However, there was a pleasant surprise.
The "SMOOTH OPERATOR" was designed to be used in small conditions, but "MAYHEM" and "Oton" have also used it at special spots overseas, and have taken some photo shoots!
The PLACEBO "SMOOTH OPERATOR" is made from the eco-friendly new material "DURA-FLEX3", making it incredibly lightweight considering its length and liter capacity, and it also has excellent maneuverability!
The DURA-FLEX3 is made from custom-shaped AEROBLANK EPS foam, with three layers of 4+4+6oz on the deck and two layers of 4+6oz on the bottom, hand-glazed with epoxy resin.It is superficially strong and resistant to impacts, but when you step on the surfboard, it gently flexes and helps you pick up speed.

Of course, as is typical of the PLACEBO brand, the entire surfboard is coated with UV-blocking white paint, which protects it from sunburn almost permanently, making it a long-life surfboard that will stay in good condition for a long period of time, something that would be unthinkable with previous surfboards.
