Afterwards, I had the chance to have a long chat with Shuji, a professional surfer I've admired since I was in high school. It was Shuji who introduced me to my first wetsuit sponsor (LANTY) when I was in high school.
We reminisced about how a girl used to give me a quilted board case as a gift, and he also gave me some advice about being careful of the many liars and strange people in the surf industry. Thank you very much.
