When I went to Trussle in the morning, I found a Lost & Present dealer in Chiba Prefecture.

ST, an All Japan surfer from Muraizu Garage, was surfing.

I spoke to an older surfer who was changing clothes next to me,

He was 64 years old! He was a current shortboarder, a former pilot with a lively lip.

ST-san, the model is indeed a competitor F-1,

The material is XTR 3D CARBOLIC and the fins are FLEXFIVE!

The waves were like this, chest high sets coming in nonstop.

It's fun surfing.

There were people with LOST boards that I had never seen before, so I took a photo.

Apparently he asked Mayhem to give him a special shape.

Nishii is in top form with SPEEDQUEST.

Speed Quest is crazy awesome.

It's short and thick, so you might not be able to get on it easily right away.

It's a totally different feeling from any board I've ridden before, so it's really fun to ride.

It's a different feeling and a fresh one since I first encountered RNF 14 years ago.

It's light and easy to move around, allowing you to make sharp turns in the narrow spaces of the waves.

It's easy to ride, easy to accelerate, and, as the name suggests, it picks up speed - very, very fast.

After that, we went to the San Diego ASR trade show!

The ASR trade show is a great place to learn about the current state of the US surf market.

It's an exhibition that you can't miss.

Brands that are not doing well and don't get customers even when they set up a booth,

We have decided not to exhibit,

Due to the recession in the US, the number of booths was the lowest ever, and the number of visitors was also the lowest ever.

The LOST booth looked like this.

Also on display were two models currently under development for 2010.

1P1000367.JPG

One is that this model is tentatively named "Motivator."

It combines a rounded nose with a rocket tail.

It had little rocker and was like a combination of RNF and ROCKET.

The other model is this one (right), tentatively named "Brandt."

It combines a wide pointed nose with a wide round tail.

It's a wide board with a round outline that allows for aggressive movement.

XTR 3D CARBOLIC also attracted attention from sales companies that came from all over the world.

It's also very popular with foreigners!

This is the "3D CARBOLIC" logo, which we have been considering adopting since 2010.

C stands for carbon and K stands for Kevlar.

Led by Mayhem, now the number one brand in the United States,

LOST will have a lively booth!
