I went board surfing in Tokyo Bay for the first time in a while.

A commemorative photo of the six participants in the "Tokyo Bay Board Surfing" event.

A shot before departure, getting excited!

Place your surfboard on the board rack next to the boat.

The boat leaves Tokyo Bay Marina and passes under the Bayshore Expressway, which we always pass when going north to Chiba.

This is Keiichi's second time here, and he's using the Placebo 6'0" SCORCHER model that he just recently acquired.

This is Bane-san, who is also here for the second time. He caught a series of lips, something I've never seen before in the ocean.
Board surfing is so fun and fascinating that once you try it you'll want to do it again and again.

Goofy is backside surfing
Masaru, who was riding for the first time, was riding a DRIVER 5'10" POLY, but the bike in this photo is a TABLET 5'10".

Mr. N, a veteran board surfer, is using the Placebo 5'10" SUB-SCORCHER model.

Here is Miyauchi about to take off on his TABLET 5'10".

Nishii's bike is a LOST 5'10" F1-STUB XTR PARALLEL-FLEX.

Once you get used to it, you can ride it for about 2-3 minutes, so if you ride it too many times in a row,

I was on the verge of oxygen deprivation and my legs were so tired I couldn't stand like this.

But the good thing about board surfing is

You can take videos and photos from various angles and check your riding form later. It's great for strength training for surfing.
The 2 minute 30 second video of Nishii riding is posted on the wall of our Facebook page, so
