WT event HURLEY PRO has ended.

As you probably already know, Kelly won and Owen came in second.

Today, I rode the "SUB-DRIVER" model MAYHEM board.
Mick Fanning won round 5 with scores of 9.2 points, 3 points and 9.0 points, beating Damien.
In the next quarter-final against Owen, the two best two rides totaled 15.67 points, which was a tie.
Owen, who had a high number of points from one ride, advanced, while Mick came in fifth.

Another rider, Julian Wilson, rides the F1-STUB model MAYHEM board.
He won round 5 against Ace (Adrian Buchan),
In the quarter final against Parko, he won a heated heat with scores of 9.73 and 8.5.
Julian finished third after Owen caused interference in the first run of the semi-finals.

However, Julian Wilson won the Best Exciting Ride award for this ride.

Mick Fanning not only drives the SUB-DRIVER model, but also the F1-STUB model.
He seems to really like it, and I'm sure he regrets not trying the MAYHEM board until now.

Mayhem was also there to watch the event today. When I asked him why so many Aussies were riding Mayhem boards, he said,
Mayhem says that Australian shapers all shape the same standard boards,
It seems that he is unable to keep up with the ever-evolving surfing demands of WT surfers.

Uchida-san, the editor-in-chief of Surfing Life magazine, and photographer Kenyu-san,
Apparently, you've been covering the WT event in New York every day without a break. That must be tough work.

The San Clemente Super Session also took place before the final heat.

We got to see San Clemente style air surfing.

Chris Ward is the hottest LOST "SUB-DRIVER" model right now.

We filmed every heat of the WT event, which was held over four consecutive days.
The total is about four hours, so it looks like it could be made into a DVD.

It will be broadcast on Luvsurf's in-store monitors from October, so please come and visit us.
