Lost has been one of the first to use carbon fiber on the tails of their boards for several years now.
Recently, Lost has been using this mesh exclusively for their POLY boards.
"MESH-CARBON" is an original product created in collaboration with the company that produces this carbon.

At first, I started by cutting and pasting a single sheet of pitch-black carbon fiber sheet that looked like seaweed.
Then the tail becomes too hard and the fiberglass resin does not penetrate well.
We used this striped carbon because the upper glass layer is prone to cracking and impairs the tail's flex.
This allows the fiberglass resin to penetrate better and does not impair the flexibility of the foam.

The XTR PARALLEL-FLEX board is a striped carbon board that can be used and ridden for a much longer period of time than a POLY board.
We've also added Kevlar (red) to provide additional long term protection to the tail, helping to extend the life of your board.

This is a board made with XTR's latest material, "V-FLEX." It has more than enough flexibility and is also resistant to impacts.
Equipped with the premium material VECTRAN, it provides even greater tail strength and high-performance "supple flex."

The "MESH-CARBON" for POLY matches well with colored boards.
This "MESH-CARBON" is an exclusive carbon sheet that can only be used by LOST.

When you get close, it looks like this.

It is also equipped at
ORCA , which is designed specifically for the small waves of the extremely crowded Shonan.

This carbon material also reflects MAYHEM's spirit of pursuit, and is what makes LOST surfboards so amazing, as they are said to be at the cutting edge.
