This is a surf clip of Luke Davis riding the SUB-DRIVER model.
I'm using the SUB-DRIVER model for contests at beach breaks on the QS where the waves aren't very good, with the aim of competing in the WQS and joining the WCT.
As he says in the video, the SUB-DRIVER model has rounded rails, slightly less rocker, a slightly wider tail and nose, and good buoyancy, making it Mayhem's high-performance design that is well-suited to the wave conditions in Japan.
The Luke and SUB-DRIVER models are brisk and have excellent maneuverability despite the board's volume.
The waves are small and not very good, but the speed of these riders gives you an idea of what it's like riding the waves in Japan.
This model has a very good reputation and is very popular at test drive events.
As a new model for 2012, it is now arriving in stores at Love Surf.
