What does the brand name Placebo mean?
I've been asked this question a lot recently, so I'll explain it here.

It's made by Matt Biolos, also known as MAYHEM, the same person behind Lost Surfboards.
The MAYHEM design has been faithfully reproduced down to the smallest detail.
Presebo surfboards are made using a different material called FLEXLITE-TURBO.
It is made of a strong composite material that won't fade in the sun, and is a surfboard from another brand of LOST design.
It means
"placebo." It's a name that suits MAYHEM, who loves twisted jokes.
This mark with a P inside a circle was the original mark and was used for three years from 2006 to 2008.
This capsule mark was adopted in 2009,
Since 2010, instead of this Present Man robot mark,
The same MAYHEM mark as LOST is now used.
In 2012, the black capsule mark was added.
It has been seven years since its launch in 2012, and now it is used by many people who know the difference.
As a first choice surfboard brand, its durability and ease of riding have made it a very popular brand.
Even now, the mark and design continue to evolve every year.
