Why? We will explain why we recommend "AUROLA FIN".

Why Love Surf?
I will explain why I recommend "AUROLA FIN".
When you purchase a LOST or Placebo surfboard, the following items are included:
This is a genuine FCS GMB (G Matt Biolos) fin with the MAYHEM logo printed on it.
This GMB fin falls into the large fin group, labeled "L" on the FCS fin size chart.
Therefore, it is generally designed for large waves, and is best used in waves of overhead size or larger that require large drive turns. The fact that a large area is in the water also gives the board a sense of stability, so beginners are recommended to use this fin even in small waves, as it helps to prevent the board from wobbling when paddling or taking off.
However, for intermediate level surfers who want to perfect and practice lip action or move the board more, the large "L" fins are too large and feel heavy and slow. Therefore, we recommend using fins with a smaller surface area than the included GMB fins.
As for what kind of fins are best, I recommend the lightweight, high-performance ``AUROLA FIN'' fins that I will introduce below.
Now, please take a look at the comparison photos of the AUROLA FIN series with GMB fins.
Top right: CHARGER fins have a narrow base and a low height.
Bottom right: The TRIPLE RAZER fin has a slightly narrower base and a shorter height.
Top right: BAMBOO's side fins have a narrow base and a low height.
Bottom right: BAMBOO's center fin is a small fin with a very narrow base and a very low height.
Top right: The side fins of the CARBON 5 have almost the same base, but are slightly lower in height.
Bottom right: When used as a CARBON 5 QUAD set, the back fins have a very narrow base and are very short in height.
Top right: When used in the FLEX-FIVE QUAD set, the back fins have a narrow base, a low height, and are small.
Bottom right: The FLEX-FIVE side fins have a slightly thinner base and are slightly lower in height.
The 4.7 MFF side fins are
The base is almost the same, but the height is slightly lower, the tip is shorter, and the center is narrower.
The 4.5 MFF side fins are
It has a very thin base, a low height, a very thin tip, and a slightly narrower center.
As you can see, no matter which fin is compared, it is smaller than the GMB, and there is a difference in the size of the fin area.
The "AUROLA FIN" series is suitable for everyday waves in Japan, and just by changing the fins,
* The board moves more easily
*Easy board control
*Improved technique sharpness
Because of this effect, we recommend using the included GMB fins for larger waves.
We recommend using the smaller ``AUROLA FIN'', which is more suitable for the wave conditions in Japan and the size of the waves you usually see.
With the "AUROLA FIN" series, you can change the fins without any problems.
Try installing AUROLA fins and improve the performance of your favorite surfboard.
