These "MAYHEM SURFINZ" fins are custom-made, specially upgraded for Japanese surfers. They use my own MAYHEM fin GMB template and foil. They are significantly smaller than the FCS L-size MAYHEM/GMB fins, designed for knee-to-overhead waves in Japan, providing improved board response, control, and speed. They are roughly equivalent to an M-size fin by FCS standards. The carbon dioxide polyplastic interior is made with a high percentage of finely chopped carbon fiber, making them lightweight, durable, and extremely flexible, giving the board instant speed when turning. The fin surface has a carbon pattern that glides easily through the water and improves water repellency. These are specially designed and tested fins by Mayhem to allow Japanese Placebo and LOST board users to surf more agilely.
The L-size/GMB/MAYHEM fins are used for larger waves and when stability is required.
This M-size / MAYHEM SURFINZ / is for sizes up to the normal knee to head size,
I recommend using them appropriately.
