This is my first size up in LOWERS in three weeks.
The waves were small for the few days Nishii was there, about waist-high and chest-high, but they have gotten bigger since this morning.

Today Nishii is playing his recent favorite, the 5'7" STELTH II model XTR-FX.
The LOST STELTH II model will be released in mid-September.
PLACEBO's V3-ROCKET model is a board with even faster takeoff.
The wide point is at the front, so the paddle is positioned quite far forward on the board.
This board is designed to be easy to paddle and to speed up take-off.
The tail area is the same as the V3-ROCKET, a thin double wing rocket tail.
The design makes it easy to control the tail.

This is Kei Kobayashi. He started playing after returning from Nicaragua and has improved again.
He's still only 14 years old, so I'm really looking forward to seeing him improve in the future. Please support him.

This is 19-year-old Kolohe Andino.
The air flew so high that cheers erupted on the beach.
Jordy Smith was also surfing at LOWERS today.

I worked with MASUDA photographer to take photos of the ``XTR-FX'' board, which is currently in preparation for release.

This is the XTR-FX, a SUB-SCORCHER II model. The SUB-SCORCHER II model looks beautiful from this angle.
The XTR-FX has the strongest bounce and speed of any XTR board to date.
This is a new material board that is a must-have for XTR board fans as well as those who have never ridden an XTR before.
