LOST DRIVER x Masato Yukawa
This afternoon, I took Masato, who was flying to Japan, and we went to Grubbs in Salt Creek at dawn to take some photos.
Today Masato chose the magic board he brought from Japan,
the LOST "DRIVER" POLY .
Early in the morning, I barrel rode the first wave I found in the dim ocean.
This is a shore break and looks like a damper wave at first glance,
The waves are deep so it's great for photography.
Even carving the waves to the inside makes for a picturesque scene.
The local birds were also very interested in Masato as he flew around.

The LOST "DRIVER" is a high-performance model with a thick center and thin rails. This is a Mayhem masterpiece, created through a collaboration between Julian Wilson and Mayhem, with repeated test rides and design adjustments. This model was released a few years ago, but it's one of Mayhem's classics.
