The popular series! What happens when an "ordinary guy" buys a bean bag!!!

I got the Red Comet

Happy New Year everyone! It's been a long time. This is actually a fairly popular "Ordinary Old Man" series, and this time I'm going to talk about how I ended up buying a bean bag that even pro surfer Nishii raves about and rides all the time. the-bean-bag-logo-2015 It was December 30th of last year, just before the end of the year. I was playing with the Love Surf members in the crowded small waves of Wada, Minamiboso, Chiba. The information about the wave size was a big lie, saying it was waist-chest 45 points, but in reality it was shin-knee... I was riding my favorite Lay's Potato 5'6", but after the shoot I was surprised when Nishii brought out the black bean bag he often writes about on his blog and started riding it like crazy. 3435351619 1241315524411TVTY7X77 The takeoff is so fast, and they're spraying so much... it feels like the surrounding area is being suppressed... What's that all about? I want to kick them away when it's really crowded. Of course, with a 5'0" board, even if your CL is 29, it's difficult to ride at an amateur level. I've ridden a 5'2" couch potato board before, but it felt like a skateboard and I didn't know where to stand. In head-high waves, it felt like I was noseriding a longboard. It may seem like a small difference, but it's much easier with a 5'4". I was able to ride a Speed Quest or a couch board normally with a 5'4". By the way, I'm 170cm tall and weigh 68-69kg. Unknown So, I asked Pro Nishii to open the shop for me as a special gift for the New Year (lol), and I got a 5'4" bean bag. And it was fluorescent pink. I named it "The Red Comet, also known as the Red Sunfish" 1111122 Takeoff is about three times faster... 5'4″ x 21.50″x 2.56″(163x54.6x6.5 cm) 35.05cl The most buoyant of all the boards I own! The fins are of course quad. I have short hands, so it's difficult for me to hold a 21.50" wide board, so I hold it by the front of the fin. So, my first battle was the following day, January 2nd. It was first thing in the morning in Minami Boso. When I set up, my weight was sagging, from my chest to sometimes even my shoulders. When I started paddling, I felt incredibly stable. It had a lot of buoyancy, so I paddled quickly. It was quite voluminous, so at first I wasn't sure how to ride it. Gradually, I began to understand 1. If you lie flat on your back and bring your body forward a fair distance before taking off, you will be invincible. 2. Standing up to take off is a no-no At first, the waves were shoulder-high and I was riding sideways, but when I tried kicking the tail a little, "Whoaaaaaaa, it's moving." It was a surprise. Most of the people in Shonan with round-headed, big-bottomed boards mainly ride sideways, but the beanbag's pseudo-lip is super easy. You can hit the board hard and speed along at high speed. Then, when you twist your body from a top turn, it spins around in a complete circle. Honestly, it's much easier to ride and moves much more easily than the 5'4" couch potato board I had before. It might be the board with the best rotation of all the boards I own now. I could easily do roller coasters and things like that. It's said to be designed for small waves only, but unless you get into a deep hole, I think you can ride in waves over your head if the water is thick.

I let rider Hiroki ride it.

IMG_2465 So on January 4th, I went to the beach again with Pro Nishii and this time with rider Hiroki. Today I lent Hiroki the Red Comet and had him try it out to see what it was like. Naturally, I told him, "If you break it, I'll kill you." At first, Hiroki was confused too. It took him about an hour to get used to it. That's because he'd gained a lot of weight in December, from 70kg to about 78kg. Just like me, HISKWW ☆He puts his body flat on the ground and moves it forward quite a bit to take off. That is the basic principle. HIROLIAAAA Make sure to take note of this. It's amazing once you get used to it. HIROKI1 HOKIWQ2P11A9954 hikoaaga1 HI22KKQ3 Flying Bouncing Rotating I've been doing it too much. I'd be in trouble if the board got dented... (sweat) Hiroki's thoughts are as follows: 1. The takeoff is fast. And super fast. It doesn't matter if you're a little fat. 2. It really moves like crazy. I can't believe it's this big. 3. It is not like a competition board that goes up vertically, but is more suited to running while flapping the board. 4. Fake lipstick is surprisingly easy It's something like that. P11A0605 It will be a great weapon for the current season and into spring when we are all wearing heavy wetsuits. If you find one, please call it "Shah." I'll answer with this catchphrase: 2222211 ================================= "Ordinary Old Man" also highly praised Would you like to try the LOST "BEAN BAG" ? The ride is extremely fun! Here 's a board you can ride right away! =================================
