It started yesterday, September 1st, at Oarai Beach in Ibaraki Prefecture.

After the event, I went surfing with Kei Kobayashi.

I've done six rounds since yesterday,
It was my first time in Oarai and I got used to the waves.
The waves are a mix of reef and sand.
We decided which of the seven boards we would use in the match.
In the morning, I go to the beach earlier than anyone else,

Surfing style is California's latest and most sophisticated movement.
Because each technique is highly precise,
The difference is clear, so it's easy for the judges to award points.
The match has started, and things are going great this morning.
"Kei Kobayashi" took first place in Round 1,
Won R1 with the highest score of 14 points,
Round 2, which ended a few minutes ago,
He came in first place with 13.6 points.
I'm looking forward to the next match.
The prize money for the winner is 720,000 yen.
